  2. :( oh dear. well ive got a spare release bearing which is still in the wrapping you can have, just cover the postage :D
  3. ah ok then ;) plug it back in and put a volt meter to the middle wire and see what reading you get, i think if its on about 30v its buggered but i cant remmeber. oh and it should be fluctuating all the time.
  4. Get that oil changed now soldier. then drop down and gimme 20.
  5. I can get the diagnostic mode to engage first time. I just turn it left and right really fast while pressing the brake on and off simutaniously 8-10 times, it works. I spent hours trying to get it to work then one day i just got so stressed i went crazy with the steering and brake pedal and it worked woohoooo. its Not very exciting once it does start to work anyway haha. Oh and that plug which is disconnected, are you sure its not the turbo solenoid? Didnt you say you had a manual boost controller hooked up or is that someone else?
  6. mines about 200 miles old :D yours is due for a change :D
  7. Could be engine mount failure/ gearbox mount failure diff bushings prop donut loads of crap ahh dont ya just love the z32

Im sooo there mate, ;) its gunna be a right laugh as long as you dont talk to much about cars :D just kidding.
  11. Would be worth getting a new connector and that grounding kit for peace of mind.
  12. Its easy to fit mate. But you might just have a bad battery? That noise might be a stuck relay or something.
  13. haha well it wont tell you that one of your pistons has melted or that there is a mouse in your filter. It is however a great bit of kit and you do need to know how to use it make the best use of it.
  14. It depends what you wanna use it for. Conzult is specialy designed for the z32 so its more involved datascan is good for the basic stuff although im not clued up on it much im afraid. sure someone will be up shortly to tell ya.
  15. well done, now can i take his place :D

  17. I think when you have bad grounding you will get unwanted electronic noise. try buying a grounding kit from that bloke on the http://www.300zx-club.com forum. i bet all your old grounding cables are greened up and rubbish this doesnt help with running much either.
  18. ive got the rps max and i bought the single braided hose straight from the master to slave, makes bleeding sooooo easy. That oem clutch hose is too thick and big etc and makes bleeding a nightmare. the rps is much firmer, your master/slave should be in good condition and rememebr to use dot 3/4 i used 5.1 and it screwed the slave seals. When your bleeding with the old crap try pumping the pedal up and down quite fast while someone underneath releases and tightens the nipple continuously like once ever second to get some pressure in there. have another person at the other nipple do the same but obviously at different times and get them to keep topping up the fluid too.
  19. Was a piece of cake took me 2 hours, not bad i recon. :D i just let the old diff drop on its ass, it deserved it. Last time i took out the diff it dropped on my belly oops haha.
  20. where u live? u can drive i will listen ;) just need to jack up the rear and give the prop a good turn backwards and forwards and see if there is much play there
  21. What does yours do? anyways, went for a drive and its an improvement, but still a tiny bit jerky but thats the disadvantages of onepiece prop solid diff bushings subframe collars etc no give or flex in anything so it has to come out somewhere ie the diff
  22. Happy Birthday ye ol fruit.. :D
