  1. I think That comes out of the CC carbon canister. You can bypass the canister but that pipe still needs to rest somewhere.
  2. For the temp gauge you just need to screw in the oil temp sender in the adapter and wire it up accordingly simple really. Air fuel just wire it to one of the lambda ecu pins (These air/fuel gauges are uselss, you really should buy a wideband like i have called the innovate system) im still to fit this tho. Volt just wires up to A 12V SOURCE and a igntion etc.
  3. Thats the one i got too :D easy peasy.
  4. I think its coz the oil is always passing the sender and you never get a true reading from the same part of oil. in the sump the oil is still and always covering the sender. I was getting a low reading when the sender was in the sandwich plate and it would drop as you rev the engine which makes me think the oil is rushing past the sender instead of evenly covering it. Does that make sense? I was getting a reading of about 60-70 when idleing but 40-50 when driving. now i get a steady reading around 80-90 with it in the sump. When i had it in the sandwich plate an the car was warm, if i turned off the enigne the oil temp would rest at around 80 coz the oil was still, which is a true reading.
  5. nope not for temp.
  6. Does that screw into the sump? or the stock oil pressure sender point? just asking coz you cant gauge oil temp correctly from a pressurised location.
  7. oi temp needs to go on the sump. buy an adapter from demon tweeks.
  8. 45psi is high at idle. 39-40 is about right for idle.
  9. We are touring now :D If she want to go to any gigs just pm me :D

  15. A couple of little mods to dobut they were fine. You got to push the brackets as far back as possible or the indicators will touch.
  16. Why are you selling them mate? ive never been much of a dv fan but 35 quid is tempting, do they leak at all?
  17. no item numbers sorry. What you need is a oil pressure adapter T-piece with two holes for the oem sender and A/M senderm demon will know the size you need. You also need a sump plug oil temp adapter, and the thread size u need is 12mm/1.25 metric. with a 1/2 npt hole for oil temp sender. Didnt i just write that above?
  18. Hay dont buy any clutch crap from ebay, you will regret it.
  19. To be honest the sandwich plate i have fitted from ebay has not given me any problems, If fitted correctly that is. Just made sure i put teflon tape around each blacking plug and sender, But With the sandwich plate you just dont get a good reading especially for oil temp. Ok i spoke to MJP and he gave me the sump plug thread size which is 12mm/1.25 metric. Now ive just come off the phone to demon tweeks who have not only sold me a sump plug oil temp adapter but also a T-piece adapter to go in place of the stock oil sender postion, so i can fit my aftermarket one and original. This is the best position for oil pressure. This all cost me £25 with special delivery gaurentee next morning. Cheaper/accurate and no need to worry about oil leaks. JOB DONE. And now i have a sandwich plate for sale if anyone wants it :D
  20. Thought id bring this thread to life as im looking for the sump plug thread size also...... I want to relocate my oil temp sender as the sandwich plate is in a crap location and it doesnt give me a true reading as all the oil is rushing past the sender when the engine is ruinning.... So im going to buy an adapter. So anyone know the size?
  21. Yep those ebay f1/ztd clutch are pants. wasnt even running extended boost and it started slipping, very disappointed :( Im sure im going to be pleased with the rps max once its settled, adjusted and bled properly.
  22. So you must like it hard then lisa? far better than a soft one, it makes it easier to slip in doesnt it?
  23. Hmmm il wait till i get the braided line then, HURRY UP GB :D so where should it bite then lower or higher coz it bites quite high when warm and it bites (in my mind) perfect when cold about an ich from floor, but ive read that the rps should be set to bite higher?
  24. Where should i adjust the biting point to? an inch from the floor or further up? It also bites further up once the car is warm??? hmmm strange im thinking air in system maybe?
  25. Its a mans clutch :D thats what i have fitted now. It felt like it was slipping very slightly last night tho. Must still need wearing in and readjusting. imagine what it would be like to use with a leaking booster :(
