-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok heres a vid of my throttle sound when blipping, hard to hear with the video but you can see that when blipping it takes a few milli seconds before it revs which makes it difficult to pull away sometimes, I also want andy to have a look at the aiv solenoid bypass i done, Just to be sure its correct. [YOUTUBE]16ZsWQzfLYs[/YOUTUBE] There were two solenoids which i disconnected ones the aiv and i think the other is the egr which is also bypassed, I relooped the hosing straight to the intercooler hardpipe and tied up the electrics, the stock boost controller has been connected straight to the balance bar with the red tube you see. There is however a long small pipe coming from both wings going into a T piece im assuming these are the hoses that go to the aiv tanks, Can i disconnect these? Just want to be certain Ive bought, changed and fixed: fpr pcv hoses cured every boost leak changed intercoolers changed ecu changed chip switched maf switched PTU New temp sensor and connector Been on conzult with no probs Timing bang on 15 degrees and loads of other stuff i just cant remember at the top of my head.

Just goes to show how much time and money you spend on something as minor as that :( bet you feel so releaved now though :D

Well have you checked that your getting a spark, and that injectors are clicking? You need to iliminate the possibilities, also check the fuel pump is making noise like he mentioned above. Also when the starter motor turns over what does it sound like?

fuel pump? its in the boot so maybe the jolt on the curb disrupted somehting? fuel pump fuse? check all fuses. check if you have a spark. and if no joy do a cas test. take off cas and turn the spindle to see if you hear the injectors clicking if not then its cas related. If you do this test remember to mark the exact location of where the cas was sitting or youl have to adjust the timing again with a gun. Have you got an alarm immobiliser?

If the noise disapears when the clutch pedal is pressed then its an internal gearbox bearing, but thats more of a whinning noise not so much a crunching noise. Mine has been making a whinning noise since i bought the car. I just live with it as its nothing to worry about they whine for years. Il live with it till i get a recon. Does the squeek noise change pitch when the engine is reved in neutral? Now the crunching noise seems to me like something to do with the ring gear or starter motor pinion gear? starter motor not disengaging when it should. or teeth missing from the gear? I hope for your sake its starter motor problem and not ring gear :(

But the gauge advert says it connects directly to your narrow oxygen sensor in your car. Is this incorrect then? What will i need to fit an air/fuel gauge then?
