  4. lots of knocking haha, naa erm quicker reving lighter drivetrain. more response, kinda the same advantages of having a light flywheel and pulleys etc.

  7. Thats soo true i once picked up a stone and it crumbled to bits.
  8. These diffs are suppose to be indistructable.
  9. Can i just say that the noise sounds like someone hitting a stave with a hammer. Yeah i might get myself a diff then... anyone got one for sale :D Ahhhhhhhhhhhh i dont wanna have to take out the bloody diff again and the bushings ggrrrrrr those things are fooking heavy. :(
  10. yeah lots of play in the diff but im sure its not that, il have to check out that key your talking about maybe i put it in wrong, i thought there was only one way it would go in .
  11. the diff still knocks but now i get another different knock haha so now there are two types of donking.
  12. think its clonking from box end. Annoyed :( The yoke still slides but i think it might be sliding too much and hitting the box or something.
  13. Why? I think its coz there is now no centre bearing and the prop now moves back and forth in and out of the gearbox spline so when itreaches the end of its length it hits the box or something. Anyone else with a one piece prop have this noise i hope my prop isnt faulty or soemthing.
  14. I once had a dream that a large bunny rabbit was chasing me, it was terrible i tell ya. All fluffy and cute ahhhhhh
  15. lol no i didnt use the scissor jack, i used proper stands i used the scissor just to lift the front slighty so i could get to the slave cylinder as i just changed it. Well i started at 10 and finished at about 11:45 not long at all, real easy job, packing up and jacking the car took most of the time. Havent driven it yet as i need someone to help me bleed the clutch.
  16. yeash ive dreamt that ive crashed it a number of times :(
  17. Good luck mate im sure ya dont need it tho ;)
  18. Its knocky, but ive goten used to it now. Where the half shafts connect to the diff, there is play, really annoying as you get that knock on and off throttle and if you are in a low gear and tap the throttle its like a see saw. haha I think all the poly bushings play a big part in that too, theres absolutley no flex in the diff gearbox or suspension. Whats yours like now? and the diff?
