I bought some other branded plastic spraY stuff. The targa strips, i didnt take off and did in situ as they were in good conditon and didnt need rubbing down so i dont know how the come off sorry :(

Oh ive seen that, well its your choice looks like a alot of work doing it that way. Only took me a couple hours. The window trims will come out easy too. If you damage them i wont be held responsible tho ;) lol

They are a bit of a pain. The window ones slide off and have a number of clips. This paint stuff is really sticky so make sure you wait about an hour between coats or it will never dry. If you paint them in situ the paint may stick to the paintwork when removing the masking tape, this happened to me, the plastic spray stretched as i removed the tape and it went everywhere. So I took my time and removed them altogether. If the original seal stuff has split or cracked then your going to need to remove all the crap, so you may aswell take them off. Ypou just wont get a good finish if the old hasnt been removed. God knows how you will remove that stuff in situ. Good luck

Check your misses hasnt left one of her toys under the seat..... Like ck300z said, the gb mount is pretty much directly under the seat and the exhaust may be touching somwhere as you pull off and the engine flexes.

yeeeep first time i sprayed mine is started raining, then the newspaper i had masked off flapped over and messed it all up :( so i ended up taking the buggers off and spraying them in the bassment instead.

Well worth doing it yourself if you consider the money you will save. Not a very hard job either just very fiddly. I didnt wanna risk not having them balanced.

Heres the difference: 270collar: 360collar

360 bearing is just a collar which holds the bearing all the way around (360degress) instead of the 270degress you get with the stock internals. Just helps with wear.

I didnt use primer, and i dont think you need it. Always read the label.

a lighter flywheel may not make a huge difference on its own but combine it with a one piece prop lighter pulleys etc and it will make a great difference.

haha dont worry tt's do have them but they squirt in a different direction or pattern im waiting for an answer.

I forgot all bout squirters when mine was rebuilt, whats the difference in direction then? is there a different spray pattern?

Thats what i used different make but same thing, stays flexible and it gives a nice matt black finish. Works great on all the rubber bits and trims.

oh its there somwhere mate cant be hard to see unless its been chopped away :confused: it should be on the side of the plenum somwhere.
