  1. dunno whether this help was looking on ebay and found this. turbos
  2. Found a greddy one on ebay £145 asked the seller to hold me one, until this bloody cheque clears in my bank account.
  3. Thanks m8, I thought as much but I don't know enough about these things.
  4. I'd like to get a sports clutch and lightened flywheel for my Z. Looking around there are various types at very differing prices. I'm on a real budget with the turbo work etc etc, so if anyone has any ideas on the cheapest place to buy a set or even if they have a set to sell I would be very interested.
  5. Looks like I'm gonna need new turbo's, thanks to everyone for your help and advice. I'm looking to buy a decent boost controller for when I fit the new turbo's. Can anyone recommend one, or have you got one for sale I don't want to spend silly money on one as the tubs are gonna be costing me enough been looking on ebay and there are a few for sale. Some however don't say they can go on a 300zx but when I look at other sites that sell them they look like the exact same product. What would be a good product to go for? Would this one do? Ebay item boost controller Or this one? Boost controller I don't want to spend more than £200 max does anyone have any recommendations?
  6. Gibster TT is selling Garrett t25 stage 2's. I'm thinking to go for them. They are the right money for me and they give me the option of upgrading the power of the car at a later date. We shall see.
  7. Also for stuff like gaskets, seals etc etc is there a kit you can buy or will I have to buy em individually and if I do where to buy from? Answers on a postcard (or here) :P
  8. Ok so I know I'm gonna need new turbo's. What else should I look at doing whilst I have the engine out? I don't want to go overboard, just things that could possibly need attention and is a good idea to do wihlst the engine is out.
  9. I absolutely love my car I've been working very hard to get it right and sort out the niggling faults with it. But this last week has left me almost suicidal. At the beginning of the week I was stopped in a lay by and a Polish Lorry driver decided to reverse into my car totally buggering up the front bumper. So now I have to go through the insurance to get it replaced. I took the car in to have the exhaust looked at as it was blowing on one side. I ended up coming out with a whole new system. Its a nice system, powerflow stainless steel, no cats anymore, but this has just highlighted more problems. After noticing some smoking at idle I replaced the PCV valves took the car down the road got back to have smoke pouring out of the exhausts. This means new turbos now. I'm gutted just as I think I'm working my way down the list something comes to bite me on the backside. Is there anyone out there who could recommend a good set of turbos or has a pair to sell or who knows of any good companies who sell them? Any thoughts would be welcome.
  10. Damn sorry to hear about that m8. Hope your ok. At the end of the day your whats important the car is a just a piece of metal. It did its job. Hopefully in daylight it won't look so bad and you can get it fixed soon.
  11. his insurance must be astronomical.
  12. Are they necessary. My back right wheel one keeps making this metallic zinging sound and its naffing me right off. Tried pushing it back to no avail. Is it ok to remove them?
  13. When I lived in Thailand we went to the bridge over the river kwai. it looked like this, there were people walking over it and riding scooters and allsorts. If the train cae you had to climb out onto the girders to let it pass. I was 11 at the time and remember absolutely bricking it.

    yeah cool when and where?
  15. best to leave it for 24hours, to allow it to dry, although this depends ,on weather, central heating etc. Don't dry it out too fast as it will crack and break up. If your stuck give me a call. 07737 012429
  16. I'm having similar problems with mine over fueling. Taking it to get it looked at. I have heard that the HKS induction kit is not very good due to the internal composition of the filter, being a sponge like substance. If this is the case its going to constantly bugger up your MAF as it collects water. I've also been told that over fuleing can come from a faulty temp sensor. I'm by no means an expert (although I'm working on changing that ;) ). Mine goes into the garage on Tuesday I'll let you know whats said.
  17. Getting married sucks. Why do you need a bit of paper to say you love someone? You don't...It only complicates matters when you don't love them anymore. My divorce was a pain in the arse. It didn't help that I was a bad boy, oh and her mothers a divorce lawyer :( Walked away with nothing, the only good thing to come out of our relationship was my son.
  18. And don't forget the remote lead from the stereo otherwise the amp will drain the battery continuosly. Normally if you have a decent RCA lead they have a remote wire running in the middle of the cables/ connectors.
