any one any ideas of how to get money back from a shop that keeps telling me there gonna send me a cheque , but it hasnt turned up yet ,

Go to the shop and tell them you will save them postage and ask for the cheque there and then. IF not then trading standards.

still had nothing from these guys so i sent them an email today , i phoned them again (so this is my third phone call to them and also my 2nd email) they said they were gonna send me a cheque last thursday but when i phoned them to ask why i hadnt received it they said they had run out of stamps so it wasnt sent till friday) well its now thursday and no cheque , heres the email i sent them , what do you think ? .. hi im still waiting for the cheque i was promised last week for the refund of Order Number: 15988 . please can you let me know what you intend to to about this as i will be contacting the trading standards within the next 5 working days to ask them to continue pursuing you for the full amount (£109) :headvswal :headvswal

How did you pay originally??

over the internet on there webb site (that doesnt have a customer service dept) infact i only ever get to talk to the girl on there shop landline number

Phone your card company & demand the money be credited back to your account - you can forward their emails as evidence that you are entitled to your money back... under UK law, your card issuer is jointly responsible (with the merchant) for the transaction - so if you wished to do so, you are entitled to sue your card issuer and the merchant jointly to re-coup your money... in my experience (work, not getting money back for myself!) the bank will 99% of the time give you your money back immediately then let the merchant argue if they believe it's unfair.

HI GUYS N GALLS . WELL ITS BIN NEARLY8 WEEKS SINCE THIS STARTED I HAVE BIN TOLD ABOUT THEM SENDING ME A CHEQUE 4 TIMES NOW AND ON THE LAST PHONE CALL THEY TOLD ME IT MUSY HAVE GOT LOST IN THE POST . SO THEY SAID THEY WOULD SEND ME ANOTHER CHEQUE BY COURIER ,WELL YOU GUESSED IT THAT WAS A WEEK AGO STILL NO REFUND . PROBLEM IS I PAID FOR THIS ON MY VISA DEBIT CARD , THIS MEANS VISA WONT HELP ME GET MY MONEY BACK . IM REALLY FED UP WITH THESE W@NK0RS , ANY IDEAS ???????????? :rant: :rant: :rant: :rant:

lets all see them. 50 zeds turning they gonna issue a cheque. I've been chasing bulldog for 13 months for charging me for internet they shouldn't have. Still no joy. Oh well small claims court only costs about £60, they have to pay court fee's etc go for it the forms pretty simple.
