  1. Hmph! What a let down ;) http://www.theregister.co.uk/2008/09/10/lhc_day_is_not_today/
  2. Good luck mate - a great cause. My wife suffered from this when she was in her early teens and it was very serious. She came through it fine though, fortunately. Don't know what you mean about that reliability record though - four times in the last month is FANTASTIC when you're used to a Z ;)
  3. No probs mate - managed to find some on eBay and not entirely sure about the style anyway! I checked if anyone had posted about them before I started this thread... must have been doing it with my eyes closed ;)
  4. Perfect examples of money not being able to buy skill if you ask me. They may be able to afford a GT-R but they certainly can't use one! Still reckon Henry Ford was right when he said that only a very small percentage of the world's population will ever learn to drive...
  5. Hello mate, Was looking through the For Sale section and might be interested in the gauges you have. Can you drop me a mail at karl.bowles(AT)ntc-europe.co.uk, preferably with a pic if they are still available? Ta!
  6. Yes mate, not of me in the car unfortunately (realised afterwards I should have done!) but plenty of interior, exterior and engine bay! Will post some up soon.
  7. Just sat in one myself! I'm currently contracting for the Nissan Tech Centre in Cranfield and they had their 20th Anniversary yesterday. AWESOME bit of kit and I BADLY want one! Really comfy, plenty of room and my shoulders actually fit in the seats - something that I usually struggle with. Still feels weird to have that clutch pedal missing though ;) The best thing was that I got asked to show the Zed! They wanted to show as many of the cars that Nissan have made as possible, so, as my car is quite well known here, I got asked to display it. It ended up being surrounded by the GT-R, an R32 GT-T and a 240Z :)
  8. Nice one Dave - just goes to show what this forum is all about. It never ceases to amaze me how much time people have for each other on here and how there is ALWAYS someone willing to help with any query/concern/problem. Good on yer! :)
  9. Sorry mate I was talking generically as I don't use iTunes (cos it does silly bloody stuff like this!). What Rich666 says sounds pretty likely though. Alternatively, if all of the songs are on her PC, you could try using Windows Media Player to burn the disks as it's pretty straightforward.
  10. Hi Allan, If she does put it on a DVD instead of a CD then it won't work in the car anyway. Apart from snazzy DVD player head units, most won't even recognise a DVD. It's likely to be telling her it needs a DVD and not a CD because there are too many songs to fit on a CD (max 700Mb). Just get her to do it bit by bit to a number of CD's. Hope this helps mate
  11. Lol! Bloody stupid Aussies! Had great pleasure sending this to my Aussie wife - looking forward to her trying to excuse her race ;)
  12. Lol - would love to mate. If I could. Not subscribed yet though :wack: Do you want to drop me an email at karl.bowles(AT)ntc-europe.co.uk or info(AT)BowlesITS.com and I'll sort it out with you that way. Fed up with this lack of rights stuff - think I'll be doing a £20 bank transfer tonight ;)
  13. Brilliant mate - cheers. I usually only like the gauges with the needles (not keen on digi ones) but yours look like the best of both! Have you got any time in the next few weeks to look at doing my LEDs? If so, what do you need?
  14. Holy crap mate that looks awesome! What gauges have you got there and where from? I'm still looking to get you to sort out an LED conversion for mine at some point if you are still doing that...
  15. Come on then Clarkey - any contact details? I'm looking at getting mine done when finances allow :)
  16. Cheers mate - I'll go ask them about that when I get chance...
  17. Also - welcome to the site mate. Nice to see another local (to me!) on here too. If you ever need a hand with anything, give me a shout, because I'm just down the road.
  18. Hope you get it sorted mate - WiFi's great when it's working but can be a real pain the the ar$e when it's not. And it's usually for no good reason - spent many an hour sitting there yelling 'but it's all bloody setup correctly!!!!'
  19. Looks like mine! But needs my wheels ;)
  20. I tried at least 6 specialist battery places and local garages before Halfrauds gave me the cheapest price of £68 - only to have my sodding terminals the wrong way round. Where did you (and StellaZ) go to exactly??
  21. Hi Dan, It's likely that it's the type of encryption you are using. I've had quite a few problems with WPA encryption, especially if the router and network card being used is from different manufacturers. I'd suggest you first try no encryption at all (as per Rat2611 and Annihilate's earlier suggestions) and if that works, try to use a simple 64 bit WEP encryption. If you can't get it to connect even when you switch off all encryption, first try updating the drivers for the network card. If it STILL won't work, flash upgrade the router. Hope this helps mate.
  22. Mmmmmm... Mila Kunis!!! Ta Jimmy ;)
  23. Nice one Murt - looks spot on! But what the hell are you doing posting that at 03:15? Get some sleep! hehe
