Clutch & cam belt Scotland
I've still got a brand new uprated clutch - an RPS Sport Street one - for sale if you're interested, mate? I need to put it back up in the 'for sale' section (strangely!) again at some point..... Looking for £300 or reasonable offer for this.... Cheers, Simon

Magnetic Camber/Castor Gauge
My camber is set to - 1.30 degrees all around at the mo, but I have to raise the ride height a little, so I was thinking that if I measured the camber angle at the hub, with the car raised and the wheel off, and tried to reproduce the same angle after raising the ride height, then that would work?? I have aftermarket D2 RS racing coilovers - the spring rate is unaffected by increases/decreases in coilover length. Cheers, Simon

Magnetic Camber/Castor Gauge
Has anyone used one of these? It's a Sealey magnetic camber/castor gauge - almost the same as it says in the title to this thread!! Are they any good? Not as accurate as laser alignment, but good enough to get the castor near as damnit?? Cheers!

Discustingly cheap SWB
I originally saw this car for sale on Ebay about 6 or 7 months ago........ it lived in Southampton then! Seems a very short time to own a zed for..........

Morning guys and gals! Does anyone know if the castor and camber specs on a 2+0 are the same as a 2+2? Ta, Simon

J7 *** coming out of Bath just past the Odd Down park and ride just after 4.0pm this afternoon. Almost flashed my lights, then remembered that I was in my golf!! P.s. Looks like the beast could do with a wash!!

Good Luck Russ (300zxStyling)
It sure does, buddy - I've got one on mine! One of my personal favourite zed rear spoilers which the previous owner was kind enough to fit!!

Thought was there LOL
You've got to look on the bright side mate - she could have actually been getting completely confused and have been meaning to get you to try some 'alternative' clothing!!! Which side skirts are they?? I'm in the market for some Stillen type III's, if these are those? Simon

Stag Do Suggestions???
It may sound a little boring to stay on this Island, but I've got to say that my favourite stag venue, so far, has to be Edinburgh!! It may not be the warmest of weather at this time of year, but it's got absolutely everything you can think of - including some fantastic nightlife (mmm.... and some very nice gentlemns establishments! ;)). Riga in Latvia was tremendous for it's incredibley high percentage of fabulously fit women (although this may not interest you!). It is also a great place - pretty good waterpark there too! I can't really knock Bracelona either - especially if you can get some sunshine and warmth. Watch out for pick-pocketing ladies of the night, though (we heard the stories whilst we were there!) Simon

Where to get a . . .
Pleasure mate! :) I'll get down the Post Office this afternoon and get them to give me a quote! Text ya later - Work have already been kind enough to 'loan' (ah....hem!) me a suitable box for its journey! Simon

de cat advise please
It depends what state your seals are in, mate! Some people have no problem with oil getting past them without decatting, some get the dreaded blue stuff out the exhaust! Personally, I got the latter as soon as I'd had the job done! That was a couple of years ago, but I've kept a close eye on the oil level since then and will soon be heading for a tubby change!

SE & SW Joint Meet - Bournemouth 13/14th August
Unfortunately we had a bit of a heavy night on Friday and my mates were struggling to drum up the enthusiasm to turn up!! The useless g!ts!! We did manage to turn up at 12.55 in my mates (cough/choke!) Mundane st24 estate, but by 1.15 the life had ebbed out of them and they wanted to rest their weary heads! Sorry boys! I'm definitely bringing my shorty down next time, so there'll be no lame-arsed excuses! Met up with Gaz on Friday night and enjoyed a few beers with him and his mrs - good to meet you mate, you and yer gal are top peeps! Sorry, if I was a bit 'wandery' in JJ's - I was a little intoxicated and refocused my sights from zeds to girls by then! I did my best to get mondeo boy and mx5 boy to have another shot at the meet, but I failed totally! Saw Martinfas zed wandering around town whilst I was in Yates on Friday night - fantastic looking zed, mate - knocked spots of anything (car-wise!) wandering around town!

SE & SW Joint Meet - Bournemouth 13/14th August
Sounds good to me! That gives us 5 days to find a manual 2+2 twin turbo - I reckon it can be done! I have the faith! And that's not the one from Buffy the Vampire Slayer - although I wouldn't say no!!
-
Happy birthday Scottywil!
Happy birthday, mate! And thanks again for the pointer on the bumper - I've got z1 sorting me out a deal!

SE & SW Joint Meet - Bournemouth 13/14th August
I'll be in Bournemouth that weekend but probably zedless as there are 3 of us, but only 2 seats in the car!! One of my mates is also looking for an up-together manual twin turbo - any of you guys know if there is anything decent for sale in the Bournemouth area at all? With a bit of luck, we may be able to turn up to the meet with a zed!! Simon

Differences between SWB LWB?
Swb are quicker and handle better than the equivalent lwb version! You can't fit a couple of midgets in the back of a swb though - if that's your bag, of course!! I suppose you could try squeezing them in the boot, though! Talking of which, you get a deeper boot but with less 'surface area' than the lwb, which I find really ideal for a couple of suitcase for the only 2 people who can fit in the car - depending on the midget situation, naturally! Also, all of the body panels from the front wings and windscreen back are different and, due to the fact there are far fewer in the country, are a fair bit harder to get hold of if you need to replace any. How do people get on with their gracer/scarab front bumpers?
Can't really argue with that!
-
Trolley jack recommendations!
Cheers guys! Lots of options - think I'll give the cost-free brick or Blackmagics 'pump-jack' ideas a go first!!
-
Trolley jack recommendations!
 I didn't realise you could use one of those for that!! Still, I suppose it's cheaper than a pump - I'll go take a look myself!!!

How do people get on with their gracer/scarab front bumpers?
As above! I'm in a quandary (don't get to use that word too often!) now that Luke can't get the urethane scarab front bumpers! Do I go for the improved looks (imo!) of the scarab in fibreglass or the better durability of a Stillen gtz-r?? Hmmm... what do I do? I want to lower my car up to 35mm - how do those with the scarab get on with stone chips - grounding out etc.? Is the fibreglass bumper easy enough to reposition once you've taken it off, and is it very expensive to fit (as I understand they require a bit of work)?? Lots of questions and I've gone and hogged a couple of new threads to myself! Bit greedy, really!! Ta, Simon

Trolley jack recommendations!
Can anyone recommend a decent low cost (hmm... I'll be wanting the best of both worlds, then!) trolley jack that can squeeze itself under a zed which has been lowered by up to 35mm?
