  1. I upgraded mine with a kit from the Z Centre. This came with a mounting plate whereby the uprated engine oil cooler was bolted in the same place as the cooler it was replacing and the old oil cooler (or new gearbox cooler! Which ever way you look at it!) was bolted right in front of the larger oil cooler - if you see what I'm saying! Got to admit, it wasn't quite as straightforward as that as the new mounting plate and old oil cooler needed a bit of attention from my pals mr. mallet (no, definitely NOT Timmy!) and mr. hacksaw before everything fitted properly! Basically, you'll need to get hold of/make up a new mounting plate and fit the uprated gearbox cooler in front of the oil one! Cheers, Simon
  2. 'Blow' it all in Amsterdam!
  3. What an absolute sh*t, mate. All those hours of tlc and all that hard earned that we stick into our beloved zeds and some selfish, ignorant little b*stard comes along and does that. Sometimes I really depair at what some of these people we have to share our lives with are like. It's doubtful that the scum will have an attack of conscience and come back and offer recompense, but if it's any help at all (hmm) then I personally believe that you get what you give in this life, so one day he'll get his own!
  4. Naaa! I've just been checking it out on Autotrader - I like the look of the alloys and the skirts on it, am seriously considering that I may one day put something similar on mine, despite my pledge to not do that sort of thing! I do think the yellow one looks the dogs danglies!
  5. Mines red with the standard alloys and no bodykit. So doesn't look quite so good! I'll get some piccies sorted from different angles and post them.
  6. No problemo! Good looking car ain't it?
  7. If you do a 'national' search on autotrader and put 'swb' under the 'keywords' section, you should get a yellow one, with this spoiler, come up for 5800 quid! Pic is a bit small, but you get a good idea of the profile it cuts (well, on a swb, anyway)
  8. Unfortunately, I've only got access to the work pc - no scanner, and I've got no digital camera! I think 'Ma' has a scanner and I know she's bought a digital camera, so all being well (knowing how well new technology, instruction manuals and parents mix!) I may be able to get some pics sorted this w/e and post them for ya, if that'll help?
  9. Oh, yeah! Probably should mention that this was getting on for 11 last night! Told you that late nights and early mornings don't mix!
  10. Silver import - G517 ***, or something similar. Going past the Pig and Fiddle (as I was going in!! Late nights on the beer and early mornings.......nasty!) Anway, usual question - "Anyone on here?"
  11. Howdy! Got one of these fitted to my swb, without the centre support. Can't tell you much more other than that they look pretty darned awesome, as the car already had it fitted when I bought it! Well, except that the lip and brake light came with it!

  13. Sure will! They do appear to be popliar round our way at the mo! Poor old zeds just not meant to travel that slowly!
  14. Apparently, I've been reliably informed by a newly-caught speeder, this is the latest gimmick that the lawr is using to catch us naughty boys and girls who flaunt the speed limits. Basically, bung a mobile camera or two in an unmarked white van, park it at the side of the road, and see who you can net! Undoubtedly, the marked cars are there to add their persuasion to those who may 'not notice' the white van man trying to flag you down! Besides, they'd be a mere blur at 115mph! As if this country doesn't get enough cash out of us already! Think I'll vote for the Anarchy party next time!

  16. Hi chaps/chapesses! I'm getting my swb TT de-catted, and after reading through the many, many posts (people must be getting pi**ed off with cat questions!) would I be right in assuming that it's best to chop the cat sensors off, feed them back into the chassis and earth them off inside under the carpet?? Or would I perhaps be talking utter utter codswallop?! Whatever that is! Cheers in advance, and sorry for boring everyone!! Simon
