Japanese Matsuri at the museum of power 30th June 2019
Excellent news!! And what he said... Looking forward to seeing everyone there!!

What did you do to your zed today?
I know - I'm really impressed!! I enquired about the scuttles on the Monday and they told me they only had one side in stock, the other being on back-order from Japan with no ETA. Then on Wednesday, they e-mailed to say it was arriving Thursday; and did I still want to proceed. I saw the e-mail Thursday evening and placed the order.... The rest you know!! Top work CZP:thumbup:

What did you do to your zed today?
Not long Gaz - I placed the order last Thursday evening and the parcel arrived at my office on Tuesday; just 3 working days.... Thanks Paul - not a bad idea at all. Although knowing me I'll still do it Saturday morning

What did you do to your zed today?
I did nothing today either..... …...However my parcel from CZP arrived safely at my office. Some nice new OEM scuttle panels - complete with the fixings - plus a replacement double DIN radio bezel. The quality has definitely improved since I bought my first one; sure if I'm picky, it could use a little buff. But all in all, it feels so much stiffer (oo-er missus); and not so much like a cheapo-3D-printed-knock-off. Maybe I'll get to fit them before the Museum of Power show on Sunday - but more likely, I'll just do it the following weekend. Just in case I should fook something up, right before I have to leave home...

Parking is more expensive than flying!
Enjoy your break Pete...

What did you do to your zed today?
I didn't do anything personally, but I did have a smart-repairer round this morning.... He tidied up a few scuffs and marks on my leather seats. £70 well spent, I reckon  Oh, and on Sunday, I replaced the little 25 year old vacuum hoses to the fuel pressure regulator and dampener, with some nice new silicone tube. Just £1.99 from Ebay for half a metre, so I have a fair bit left over...

Breaking the design rules.
Great find Gary - thanks for sharing....

TT Condensor RIP ?
Sad news - although Andrew's link could prove useful..... At a price though!! Nick has a point; it is, after all, a kind of radiator, so maybe someone could reproduce one....?

Aux Fan comes on once engine is warm
Before closing the thread - I have two comments.... I guess you already know there are two coolant temp sensors; one for the gauge and one for the ECU... And secondly, the aux fan, as I understand it (someone will correct me if I'm wrong) is also for the benefit of the AC. Whilst it will come on if the coolant gets hot, it does keep the AC gas cool. Does the fan switch off, when you turn off the AC?

300ZX Production History - JDM - Series and dates
Just thought I'd revisit these posts, as the new A90 Supra was road-tested in this month's TG magazine; against the Cayman GTS, M2 Comp and Alpine A110. Whilst they still quoted the manufacturers 0-62 time of 4.3s, the Supra posted an actual 0-100mph time of 9.6s (pretty much the same as the Cayman did, if you're interested).... Pretty rapid, considering the old one did it in around 12:cool: Like I said, new engines, new transmissions, all these things make quite a difference 25 year on!! Ultimately, the Supra still came last when it came to the final verdict though - TG chose the M2. Me? not sure what I'd pick:wink:

Top gear
Good point - but at least Chris Harris is a racing driver. Not to mention his career as a motoring journalist; writing and reviewing for Evo and Autocar magazines, to name but two...

What did you do to your zed today?
LOL, I just didn't think about it Gaz.... I was ordering my fuel pressure regulator and dampener from Z1; and just wondwered what else I could do with, and happily clicked away!!

Top gear
I did too.... Not sure about Paddy McGuinness yet, as I have never been a fan, but I'm pleased Rory Reid has gone - I just didn't like him as a TG presenter.

What did you do to your zed today?
Today I replaced the fuel dampener and fuel pressure regulator - together with the last little fuel hose on the regulator. Just the fuel hose between the left and right banks to replace now..... When I can be bothered to remove the throttle linkage, that is... I also fixed the connection to the left hand horn. Again!! It's gone bad twice since I have had the car back; perhaps it's time I re-wired the horns?? I used some grease on the connectors, hopefully it will help repel water! Didn't get around to the master cylinder brace though:oops:
