Very nice! You're not that far from me, I see, so perhaps we can organise a small meet of Home Counties owners:cool:

Hello and welcome! We have a section dedicated to events and meetings.... We also have our main event, the middle weekend of July, at the British Motor Museum, near Warwick. That's not a million miles from you - not to mention we'll be at Simply Japanese, held at Beaulieu on the last Sunday of July. On June 30th, we have a small stand at the Museum of Power, Maldon, Essex. However that may be full now - although there's nothing stopping you coming along to visit and meet a few members who are displaying there! Good luck with you restored Zed; please do share some pictures. Richard

What did you do to your zed today?
As for me - I did nothing on my Zed today. Well, I was at work.... …..However on Saturday, I returned from Cornwall, after covering almost 1,000 miles in the Zed last week. Felt good to be using it for holidays once more:cool: I shall post a few pictures once I have downloaded them from my cameras  So on Sunday, I gave the Zed a good wash and wipe over with Auto Finesse Glisten, before popping it back in the garage, out of the rain we have had these last two days. I also received another package from Z1 yesterday - a nice new fuel dampener and regulator; plus a master cylinder brace. I'll be fitting them this weekend! Then I must speak to Sir Jimmer, about having the cambelt changed and the AC re-gassed!

And if you do need one - after following Jimmer's advice by checking as he says above - get to Z1, as they are currently on offer at $248 https://www.z1motorsports.com/intake-mas-and-hoses/nissan/new-oem-300zx-mass-air-flow-sensor-meter-mas-maf-p-1752.html

D Day
I watched some highlights of the coverage whilst on hols last week... To see the veterans, all well into their '90s, talking about their experiences, really moved me. Especially the chap who was so modest, that he said he was no hero, he was lucky, as all the heroes were dead. Utterly selfless. We owe those men and women so much, fighting for our freedom, we should never forget their endeavours.

Rear lights
Welcome indeed Abi - and thank you for your kind support!! The Funky one has a point - not cheap; but then not exactly expensive in comparison to a new set of the orange lights. But the '99-spec rears are the best option for replacing old cracked lights!! You could also try Mike Feeney (MJP) in the traders section.
-
JDM Taillight Conversion
A few people have... ….But seeing as many OEM rear lights have either cracked or faded in 25+ years, unless yours are immaculate, you may well consider investing in a brand new set of JDM 99-specs. Not necessarily cheap, but much less effort - and they do look so much better! Richard:cool:
