Meetup and Drive 26th July 2020
Hi folks, Apologies, but we're going to have to pull out of this one too - it's been a long week for Julia and me, so we've decided to stay local and take it easy today.. We'll have to organise a few more events now that things are slowly returning to normal. Have a good one guys and see you next time?

Hello all
Hi and welcome to the club Tom....!! Richard
-
Sills
From memory, no - they have to be welded together, you should see the seam where they join.
-
Sills
There was someone on Ebay who sold them - and Jimmer may also be able to offer advice - but I got mine from Luke at Z-centre. I bought the full kit, including the OEM front sills - not cheap, but 100% worth it. Great service from Luke as ever; not to mention a perfect fit, once in the bodyshop.

Closing the doors at Modern Classics magazine HQ
Yep.... fingers crossed

That might be some consolation - however being a dinosaur, I prefer a paper magazine. Sure, the world may be going digital, but I still love a good magazine. Much easier to pick up and put down at will - not to mention the ability to ready anywhere. Out in the garden on a sunny afternoon, on the toilet, you name it. Reading from a tablet or PC is much less convenient in many situations

That is sad news indeed. MC has emerged as one of the best car mags in recent years. Having been subbed for the last three, I really looked forward to MC arriving on the door mat above all others. I certainly wish JJ and Nathan all the best....

JaiKai - MK2 - Ziggy Build
Is that a nice new undertray...…? I must get myself one of those - mine (what's left of it) is extremely tired nowadays.... Not to mention held together with many, many cable ties....

What did you do to your zed today?
Cheers Gary!! I am a fan of Chemical Guys' products - I love their Jet Seal pain sealant.... I highly recommend that as a base coat before waxing - our very own Peach recommended it to me and I've used it ever since. Must give their wax a try sometime. Although at the moment. I'm impressed with Dodo Juice Purple Haze - having three blue cars, it's the nuts

Awesome Si...…... Thanks indeed for sharing...!!!

What’s your favourite 90’s Jap cars (other than the Z32 obviously!)???
I did test drive a couple of Mk4 Supras, to be honest - as I thought it the natural succession. I did like them, but they did not stir the senses.... Next on my list was the Porsche 928 s4 - great car - and the 300zx. After driving both, I decided on the 300zx - firstly it was half the price and secondly, it just won me over Mind you, that 928 s4 could have been worth quite a bit today....LOL

First was a 1990 white UK spec, 3.0 7m-gte with blue leather. Second was a 1992 J-spec GT version in black. It still had the 7m-gte, but with over 250bhp; aero-top roof and fully digital dash. As a child of the 1980s, I loved it, because it was the Japanese version of KITT

I respect the Mk4 Supra and R32/R33; great cars, but they were never on my wish-list. For me it would definitely be Z32 - obviously. Mk3 Supra Turbo - I had two before I bought my first Zed. Best Supra of the lot IMO. They just about qualify as 90s; most turbos were 1990-92 cars. Mk2 MR2 GT - I quite liked the Mk1, but Toyota got it "right" the second time. J-spec turbo is nice, but an original UK-spec GT T-bar with leather; just right. Mazda RZ7 - latest shape; UK-spec with leather Then the maybe list Honda NSX...? I would; just not worth the money R34 - best Skyline IMO; has to be Bayside Blue and standard. Except for maybe a leather re-trim.

Does sound good..... After reading the other post about Beaulieu, Julia and I were thinking of going to Simply Japanese if there was a club interest - however if we can get a few more coming along to this, then let's do it. Should be more social than Beaulieu and I do like a picnic with friends. Craig? Andrew? Joel? Funky? Hell, I haven't seen your Aston yet mate - be good to catch up
-
What was your 300zx highlight of 2019?
Interesting....! Although just 500 tickets? What about the footfall from non-exhibitors.... Still it would be nice to do one show; and Beaulieu is a great venue - even without the museum
-
What was your 300zx highlight of 2019?
Ditto - I had a new venue for the club AGM planned, but sadly it's probably not to be.....
