Selling my car without personal number plate?
Hi Dan, You must either put it on retention or transfer it to another car owned by you before, you sell the donor car. Richard:)

With or without dial surrounds. Can't decide
Whilst I too like the stock look; I reckon with your LED back-lighting that Mental may be right (apart from using the word bling:p). It does give the quality sports car look, brings the dash a bit more up to date but does not have the tacky "stuck-on" factor. Richard:cool:

Totally Fookin Robbed!!
I would as well, mate:( The speed recorded on the gun is not necessarily the same as that on a speed camera (ie a permanent record of the alleged offence). Also you mentioned to him about the closed window - the officer must make notes on what was said so it can be used in evidence should the case go to court. Also was there another officer in the police car to corroborate his version of events? If not it's just your word against his with no other supporting evidence. Hope it goes well for you, Richard:)

Maxxis tyres?
They are also big in Scandinavia; since they make very good winter tyres. I believe they even make a high performance winter tyre now!! As for Maxxis, don't bother with cheap rubber on a 300zx; you'll regret it! Mine was shod with brand new Avon ZZ3s when I bought it and it handled like shit. It was an amazing transformation when I replaced them with Goodyear GSD3s. Dunlop SP Sport 9000s are also a good tyre and don't cost the earth - I have them now and they have lasted well and give no grip scares in the wet. Richard:)

A couple of Sussex Ladies.....

shit/drab/mundane cars with expensive/private plates.
I know what you mean Si..... .......about 10 years ago I saw a beaten up old yellow Chevette with RFS (my initials) and 3 numbers but no age related prefix or suffix. I waited for the old boy who owned it to return and offered him £500 for his car; which was only worth buttons, but he turned it down:rolleyes: Richard:headvswal

oil quantity in a zed?
A bit too much there I think...... Oil and filter change requires just under 4 litres! Richard:)

strikes me as being odd
I have to agree as well. I know that some may like a "blank canvas" to create their own motor but I'm lazy and would rather pay a premium for one already sorted. Si and Steve's cars for example - if I was a new buyer now then those would be my choices;) Richard:)

new nissan
I believe they have, Dave:D There is an Infiniti showroom in Reading - my company is installing a lift there in a week or so;) I saw that car in the flesh at the Geneva Motor Show - it was awesome!!! Richard:)

Is putting Fairlady on a UK OK?
I agree with Si........ ...although I also removed the Nissan badge from mine. Just to keep the unenlightened guessing;) Richard:D

A Nice Look to an Interior!
Yeah - just like a Chrysler Crossfire - they ruined the Mk1 SLK interior by splasing the silver paint on that and making it look cheap:rolleyes: Ditto - just........:hurl: Richard:mac1:

Is my car AG2 colour?
I doubt it's AG2 on a 1993 - I think that was the red for series 1 cars. IIRC a 1993 UK spec car would be AJ4 - Flame Red; according to the Nissan Brochure. Richard:)

PC help needed.......
Hi all, My PC is driving me mad at the minute....... I have Norton Internet protection which, whilst it does the job, it is not scanning properly. It's scheduled to run a full scan once a week but, even though the box comes up and looks like it's scanning, it goes on for hours and the number of files scanned remains a big fat zero! I just have to use task manager to shut the program down in the end:mad: Also it won't run the live update properly - I've done it 5 times this weekend and each time it says it's downloaded the same updates when I don't think it has done anything. Finally I have tried to run a disc defrag. Again this doesn't work. Each time I get the message that my PC would be better if I did a defrag, I get the option to run it now, yet when I click on run it now it thinks about it for 20 seconds and does nothing. It's only 1 year old and it's getting harder to resist the urge to put my fist through the screen!!! Thanks in advance..... Richard:headvswal

Which brake fluid?
I believe Dot 4 is the recommended fluid for a Z32. Richard:)

Rust
A 1996 car would be JDM - so it's not just the UK spec cars that rust....... Richard:)
