  1. That's good news mate - as said above; if you can fix yours then it's a whole lot easier/cheaper than re-shelling. Richard:cool2:
  2. Many happy returns old fella........ Richard:rockon:
  3. PMSL Allan - and so true!! I wanted the Muppets' version of Bohemian Rhapsody to reach number one:taz: Richard:whistling:
  4. Top marks to Lynda, Jeff and Jamie for organising a great day! It was good to meet a few fellow members; shame the snow stopped me bringing my Z though.........:surrender: And the charity raffle was a nice touch too - well done to Zedworld!! Richard:rockon:
  5. Well - a big thanks to Lynda, Jeff & Jamie for arranging everything! It was also good to meet a few more members and put names to faces........ ......and cars!!! Thanks again.. Richard:cool3::cool3:
  6. Not at all mate....! I'd already seen your post (below) wherein you explained etc...... I was just "seconding" the others' views on AndyZ from my own experiences too. No harm done by anyone!! Richard:cool3:
  7. Brilliant:yes: Loved the Highlander and Pulp Fiction ones......:tt2: Richard:devil2:
  8. Yup - I have to agree with that as well. I've dealt with Andy on several occasions and can also confirm he's a top guy! Richard:thumbup1:
  9. Personally..... ......I'd keep with the red. I've never been a fan of red cars in general but a 300zx does look good in red. And, according to the "Enthusiast's Companion" book, red was "the designer's choice" of colour:tt2: A Z looks good in white as well...... Richard:donatello:
  10. I doubt I'll be bringing my Z now......... ..............................the snow was pretty thick here in the Chilterns and with it being -5 degrees outside right now, my road and the surrounding small roads are covered in ice!! So it looks like we'll be driving up in the Rav.... But at least we're still coming so I'm looking forward to meeting you all tomorrow!! Richard:donatello:
  11. Spot on Dave!! Especially for this bit..... Mr Clark said: "Britain now has the joint safest roads in the world but too many pedestrians and cyclists - including many children - are still being killed or hurt on the roads around their homes and schools." Well pedestrians and cyclists should ALSO be more careful then! Let's be honest; it's far easier for a pedestrian to stop and look before crossing the road and for a cyclist to try obeying traffic signals; than it is for 1.5 tonnes of metal travelling at 20-30mph to suddenly stop or change direction!! Richard:hang:
  12. Thankf for all your efforts on "The Team" Vini - you'll be missed mate! Good to hear you're staying in the club though - and I hope you get things sorted. Kindest regards, Richard:thumbup:
  13. Duly changed - cheers mate! I also noticed that Farcebook has "updated" other settings too; meaning that you have to manually revert to your old ones. Like the privacy settings that enable others to see your information! Make sure you switch back to "friends only" as necessary..... Richard:saddam:
  14. If the offset and PCD is the same, then keep them for the NSX. I hear what you're saying about some NSX guys having 17s on the front and 18s on the rear - but so what? if you play with the tyre profiles it will make no difference to handling! At £2600 I doubt you'll get many takers here mate - that's what a lot of folks are paying for their Zs at the moment........:tongue_smilie: Richard:cool2:
  15. Spot on there Cyrus...... Richard:2guns:
  16. No - it's just the way I walk..........
  17. I hope so......:punk: ........especially to stop anything from the X-factor in its tracks:angry: Richard:thumbup:
  18. I have to agree there Dave.... .....what a great country we live in. Blair & brown? - I hope they're both proud of their legacy:no: Richard
  19. Well now I understand what my taxes are being wasted on..... ........just in case I didn't before:no: And the next bit of good news - Brown & Darling are increasing NI contributions in 2010/11 to pay for more of the same:wacko: Makes you proud; doesn't it..... Richard:angry:
  20. If you only replace the lenses then no - the beam direction is set by those fiddly little adjusters inside the lamp itself. So even if you buy the complete unit you can still re-aim the beam pattern to work for RHD cars in the UK! Those clear lenses do look good! And I'd guess that there'd be no affect on the dipped beam aim anyway; as they're of the "projector" type. Those main beam reflectors look different to the stock one though - more of a "crystal" tpye pattern! Richard:biggrin:
  21. Nice one Alan..... Richard:thumbup1:
  22. Glad to hear that Steve...... .......That's a fine example of a ZX you have there mate! Richard:thumbup1:
  23. Welcome back.... Richard:thumbup1:
  24. I don't think Jeff does MOTs - I believe he takes the cars to a local tester...... Richard:thumbup1:
  25. Looks good....... .....what Nissan is that engine originally from? Richard:cool3:
