  1. Many happy returns mate! Richard:rockon:
  2. Not bad mate - the Passat is a decent car IMO. I buy these as fleet cars for work and they are reliable work horses that don't use too much fuel and don't cost the earth to run. Richard:cool3:
  3. Sorry to hear this Anthony - I had no idea you suffered like this mate. One of my friends suffered from a similar condition to you; having a 'bag in his early 20s. He went to the USA for a major op back in the early 1990s to have his intestines re-connected (much like you did). I'm sorry I cannot give any conclusive advice but if it were me, I'd certainly seek a second opinion. Failing that I'd probably have to take the option that caused me the least pain and inconvenience. I wish you all the best Anthony and sincerely hope you can get things sorted. Richard
  4. Agreed - it's great to see another ZX surviving mate! Richard:sorcerer:
  5. Sounds exactly like the kind of advice an old friend of mine once gave on the Powerflow product.... ....so I have to agree with the primate.......:thumbup1: There are much better systems out there for not too much cash. The Mongoose has been mentioned and the Japspeed article is a good product for the money also! Richard:thumbup1:
  6. Nice one Allan - yes mate; I do reckon it will be good!! Enjoy......:punk: Richard:yes:
  7. Tidy looking Mister-Two there mate! And a low mileage UK spec to boot.... ....Is that the 173bhp version? Good luck with it! Richard:thumbup1:
  8. Many happy returns backdated to the 11th - hope you had a great day! Richard:cool3:

  12. A belated happy birthday mate! Richard:happybday:
  13. A belated happy birthday Andy - hope you had a great day old fella! Richard:sailor:
  14. Happy birthday Tony! Richard:cool2:
  15. Many happy returns mate! Richard:happybday:
  16. I thought the same thing Paul.... ......at least his dad did the decent thing - there are so many thug-like parents nowadays who think their kids are little angels and would have a go at you for even daring to suggest their offspring could do such a thing. It's good to see someone honest and decent; willing to face up to their responsibilities. I hope you get it sorted with minimum fuss mate. Richard:chef:
  17. That's looking superb Graham!! Richard:sorcerer:
  18. Hi mate Brake and clutch fluid is just that - for brake and hydraulic clutch systems. Power steering mechanisms use auto transmission fluid - as well as its capabilities for hydraulic applications it is also an oil of sorts, so it lubricates the moving parts in an auto gearbox or PAS rack. Probably. Oilman would have a more detailed explanation - but definitely do not use brake fluid in the PAS; anymore than you'd pour it into an auto transmission!! Richard:cool2:
  19. They are based on the early Merc E-class; not the current one or the one just replaced, but the one before that...... .......and that's all I know about them! Richard:cool3:
  20. A belated happy birthday Mike - I've been away so sory I missed it! regards Richard:blushing::santa:
  21. Excellent news Gary - it looks like they did a good job too. I hope your daughter is OK and pleased to have her car back; just in time for the good weather......! Richard:cool3:
  22. Hi Steve, the role has not been filled yet mate - if you're interested please do drop Vodkashots a PM. We'll all take a quick vote and you never know...... It could be you!! Thanks for stepping up to the plate, we'll look forward to hearing from you. ATB Richard:cool2:
  23. Nice work there Allan..... ....and I hope you wore those marigolds mate!! Richard:w00t:
  24. It's looking great Ian - and top marks to Ian Jnr..... Richard:cool2:
  25. Nice one Steve...... ......and I'd have driven it from 1/6/11 too if I had just taxed it. You have paid for the disc to start from then so you are legal; and whilst there is technically the offence of failing to display the disc, just carry the confirmation of licencing with you and you should be OK if stopped. It would be against the spirit of the law for PC Piglet to prosecute and probably not worth their while or the cost of the hearing! Richard:cool3:
