This year's Simply Japanese event is being held at The National Motor Museum, Beaulieu on Sunday 23th July 2023 Simply Japanese | Beaulieu, National Motor Museum We have a club stand booked, currently for 10 cars, but subject to me confirming final numbers two weeks beforehand. Discounted tickets are available online (following the above link) up to 28th February. This is a great event; admission includes full access to the whole Beaulieu estate - including the motor museum, the house and gardens. There is usually a falconry display too - so it's ideal to bring your wife, GF, family etc; as there's something for everyone. We'll confirm details of where to meet etc., nearer the time; but entry is from 8.30am for participants. We usually meet at the nearby Tesco store around 7.45 and head off in convoy, so we all go in together. Please put your names down here to register interest..... ?

.....And today, I took my Zed to the local garage for an MOT and oil change. A little overdue, as I should have done it before Christmas LOL Happy to report a clean pass, with no advisories ? I also have a sump full of clean Magnatec and a nice new Nissan oil filter, all ready for spring!!

Just pinned this to the top once more - we need to keep it running ?

Happy to report another MOT pass with flying colours...... ? I also had them fit a new Nissan oil filter and fill the sump with some nice clean Castrol Magnatec too, all ready for 2023! And before anyone (I'm looking at you Si, LOL), mentions taking the Zed out with all the salt on the roads, our local council hasn't gritted the side roads and the garage is but a few hundred meters down two of those... ? That said, I still should have ad it done back in November, after the NEC, but just ran out of time!

We have but a week and a day now...... I'm still being optimistic, but not banking on it. I'll still be going though - just not in my Zed, if the roads are still covered in salt ?

Hey Rob, Looks like you may have found your miss-fire problem mate! Upgrade to a S2 PTU and (proper) wiring harness.... ...And as for the balance bar, gently re-tap the threads in the plenum with a tapping tool and get some new bolts. Inconvenient, but not insurmountable ? Good luck mate! Richard

Hi Tom, and welcome to the club! All I know, is that the diameter of the discs is the same for NA/TT models - however (for earlier models at least) the TT discs were thicker than the NA discs. Hence the calipers were not interchangeable, possibly until much later, when I believe the NA gained the same brakes as the TT. Richard

Mine is in my garage - but as soon as all the salt has been washed away, I will take it out again......! .......My MOT ran out on Sunday and I need to take it out for the test ? I shall leave it until after Christmas though, there's no immediate hurry to get it done!
