  4. Many happy returns mate! Richard:cool2:
  5. Gaz is in the lead so far......
  6. LOL - agreed... And it's a 924 with a few upgrades... May even be a turbo model - but the ZX looks way better... And yes, it is a great idea..... I think it will too Ollie........!! And here's my contribution; does it count that 2 are with my own cars..... Richard:cool2:
  7. Ouch - it's quite shocking what you can find under the bonnet of cars sometimes....!! Richard:cowboy:
  8. I'd have thought the same - certainly no more than that. And then with those extra costs (and remember it has not been used for 6 years, so there may well be a lot more hidden things to do); plus transporting it to the UK, is it really worth it? You'd be lucky to have a car worth £6k when it's done - and it could well end up costing you more than that by the time you have it finished!! Richard:wink:
  9. Another useful post....... Cheers Jeff, we're going to miss you when you're away in the sun mate....!! Richard:cool2:
  10. Nice..... I am happy with the Blue Flame/Mongoose - for the same reason as you mate. Twins each side - just like stock but a bit bigger - and not too noisy either. There's a subtle low rumble when pootling along at around 2000rpm; but nothing so intrusive on the motorway. And it's not terribly expensive either - especially if you can still find the "Blue Flame" version.... Richard:cool2:
  11. Hmmmmm V8 Zed..... Welcome to the club Eric; and thanks for sharing pics of your progress. I look forward to seeing the finished article... Richard:thumbup1:
  12. Welcome - it's only been 17 months...... Nice looking Z you have there mate - I like the cream interior - it really suits a black car IMO!! Richard:thumbup1:
  13. Exactly...... ....And well said Noel!! I am pleased that the parties got to the bottom of the matter quickly and reached a satisfactory comclusion. Nicely done fellas!! Richard:thumbup1:
  14. Yup - ugly ugly cars...... But yes, they are quite valuable now as they were very hi-tech in their day and there are so few left in good condition nowadays.... I was not aware they were quick though.... Richard:thumbup1:
  15. Looking good Dan....:thumbup1:
  16. Who - never heard of him........??? Richard:tongue: PS many happy returns Mark old chap; have a great day:happybday:
  17. Nice front bumper lip....:whistling:
  18. Welcome to the forum mate...... ....but my learned friend is right there:wink: Good luck in your search for a 300zx though..... Richard:thumbup1:
  19. Flippin' 'eck mate..... I didn't think it was that bad - but I'm sorry to see your flooding; I hope you get things sorted and replaced without too much trouble:sad: Richard
  20. Sadly not Steve - as said, the short shifter does not alter the size of the lever!! TBH, what is the cost difference between the short shift and the OEM knob? Not £70 as that is the cost of the OEM knob - speak to Mike at MJP and see whta he charges for the 99-spec knob. It's probably worth doing that mate!! Richard:thumbup1:
  21. Yup - agreed also...... ...I am not a fan of matt finishes either; shiney shiney gloss on a car for sure!! Richard:thumbup1:
  22. LOL - made me laugh!!! Richard:rofl:
