  1. Nice one Nick - many thanks for your support mate!! Richard:thumbup:
  2. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-hampshire-24367601 How, why, unbelievable.....:scared:
  3. They are excellent halogen bulbs indeed - probably the best for actual light quality in fact!! I have them in main beams and Julia has the H4 versions in her Rav; they light up the road better than most others, but the light cast is still fairly yellow when matched with the HIDs...
  4. Exactly - although with regular halogen bulbs they will still be a bit yellow-ish even if you buy so-called ice white ones. However I think you can get LED bulbs in H1 fitment for the main beam; but I doubt they're legal... Richard:cool:
  5. Yup - as above.... H3 kit for the dipped beam. And go no higher than 6000k (my preference is 4300-5000k as it's more like OEM Merc/BMW lighting).... It's not worth upgrading your full beams; with HIDs in the dipped, you'll not need full beam that much. Not to mention the that flashing full beam could have an effect on the bulb life. Richard:cool:
  6. Really Bri - you should restrict your proposal to the private messages mate...... ......But like everyone else, I look forward to Baz's answer. I hope he says yes.... Richard:rofl:
  7. They do suit the 300zx very well - nice work Dan; I look forward to the pics of them on your car mate!! Richard:thumbup:
  8. Simply awesome!!! That is one hell of a project Pete - and good to see it finally coming together mate.... Richard:bow::bow::bow:
  9. I agree..... The slings and arrows of outrageous fortune and all that - it's what we all have to face from time to time; and I too am currently trudging through an "event" brought down on me by the hand of fate (which I would gladly tear off and shove up "his" arse right now). But hard as it is, it's always best to look forward; instead of backwards into the abyss of bitterness - if only for your own day to day well being..... ......Does it work? Hell, I'll tell you once I get over it myself... Keep smiling matey, that's what I'm doing:wink: Richard:clover:
  10. Great pics Pete..... .....And it's good to see a couple of Z32s in motorsport!! Richard:bow:
  11. LOL - don't mind me Al.... ......I'd just like to have a blast in the batmobile for the hell of it....
  12. That is indeed a very good replica...... ......but so would I.... Richard:cool:
  13. Great news Russ.....
  14. Now officially here..... http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?172910-Utility-Warehouse-Discount-Club Good luck Adam!! Richard:cool:
  15. Sorry to see that Jeff - and I hope that Lynda is otherwise OK.... .....Winter is round the corner now, so it will soon be the end of 2013; here's to a happy 2014:flowers: Richard:clover:
  16. You're right Si..... I would not go to Asda - in anything!!!
  17. Fun - I'd like a go.... For shits and giggles...
  18. Heh heh heh.....
  19. LOL - but very true.... Unlike many modern Nissans (which are built in Sunderland and are even shipped back to Japan), the Z-cars were built in a separate Z factory in Japan and exported all over the world as necessary.... So those cars destined for the UK market were produced as such and imported into the UK by Nissan GB as ordered. Does anyone know of a Mercedes, Audi or BMW being built in the UK? Exactly - we import them!!! Richard:biggrin:
  20. Good grief....... What, why, no wonder, kids today....:surrender: Richard:wheelchair::wheelchair:
  21. What, like buy it flowers, chocolates etc.....? I'm sure there are no laws against it, it's not like it's a sheep or your sister.... .....But you'll get some funny looks in the pub - especially when you order it a half of Castrol. And don't forget this fella.... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/newstopics/howaboutthat/2000899/Man-admits-having-sex-with-1000-cars.html Richard:lol:
  22. Good luck Adam - and if you want a proper ad in our "services to members" section here.....: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?166-Services-to-Members-(by-members) Please take a read of how the post is set out, let me know what you want to say and I'll set it up for you mate! Richard:thumbup:
  23. And you haven't missed much either mate..... .....We've just been killing time until you got back....
  24. Welcome back Neil.....!! Richard:thumbup:
  25. I was having a wee browse on the web and found this for sale..... http://www.kgfclassiccars.co.uk/details.php?cid=248 It looks a nice tidy, original example - and if one doesn't mind the auto 'box, this could be the type of car that is worth keeping!! Richard:thumbup:
