  1. http://www.lynbrookins.co.uk/80480/info.php?p=6&pno=0 There you go mate.... ....And they were happy to insure my 1994 "L" reg 300zx., all mods declared! Richard:)
  2. Nice one Gray - that'll come in handy for the SWB you have just bought... Richard:thumbup:
  3. Welcome to the club Thass - and good luck with your new purchase my friend!! Richard:thumbup:
  4. Many happy returns Mike - have a great day mate!! Richard:happybday:
  5. Is it...??? I bought the whole lot back in May 2011 - head unit, DAB aerial and Bluetooth kit for about £170... And the head unit was brand new on the market back then!! There is an upgraded model out now, I believe - that might have the 3 RCA outs you require! Richard
  6. My advice - get a head unit that is also DAB enabled..... You'll regret it if you don't... I have this one in my ZX - but with the optional Bluetooth unit added - and I am very pleased with it: http://www.roadradio.com/Kenwood/KDC-DAB4551U/?gclid=CMSBh-OQnLoCFRMftAod8QkALQ Very good DAB reception; works well with music stored on an 8g USB stick and the hands free phone addition is very handy!! Richard:thumbup:
  7. Ouch... And I thought insurance had gone down this year:shock: Your best bet it to try the specialist companies directly - eg: Lancasters (which you already have) Lynbrooks Adrian Flux (they are traders on here, so don't forget to mention you are a member) Heritage Carole Nash Footman James Norton Sky That's all I can think of - but I'm sure others will have a few more ideas mate; good luck Richard:clover:
  8. Wow - so what will become of that lovely ZX rebuild you are working on then Pete....? ....And I take it you are no longer at Fishmore Hall? Richard:cool:
  9. LOL - good.....:shifty: And back to the plot, Jeff must be sunning himself in Portugal for a few days, as he's certainly very chilled out today..... ....Am I right matey.... Richard:biggrin:
  10. I'm back - what have I missed....:detective:
  11. Yup - and having seen Boldy's work on his own car before he sold it, I can only say that he is bloody good!!! If I wanted a respray now, I know where I'd be taking my car!! Richard:thumbup:
  12. LOL - just what he said..... Richard:oops:
  13. Mikey Bean ~ Account closed with loss of all benefits. Mikey Bean has not actually been banned; he is more than welcome to return to the club whenever he likes. However at his request yesterday he asked for his account to be closed - I offered him until noon today, the chance to reconsider his position. Unfortunately having not heard from Mikey to the contrary I have duly closed his user account as per his request. If Mikey would like it re-opened at some point in the future, all he has to do is contact a committee member and one of us will oblige. Mikey's breaker-yard trading area will also be closed. 14. Good luck on Saturday Allan... .....Do you have a "just giving" page for collecting sponsorship? Richard:clover:
  15. Bloody hell, that was fast mate!! You didn't even wait for a single "cough up" comment.... Either way, thank you for your support and good luck with the sale:biggrin:
  16. Welcome back mate - good to hear from you!! I do remember you put a lot of work into your Zed so it's a shame you have to offload it now. As for interest n the car, it's hard to say now that the summer season is over... But if you do decide to resub, at least you have the chance of a continuous advert until it does sell:wink: Good luck in whatever you decide, Richard:)
  17. Oh no - that is very sad to see indeed. Paul really cared for that ZX and spent a lot of time and money having it resprayed etc.... .....So much so, that it was a fine example of a late model UK spec manual; the likes of which are few and far between. RIP 300zx; I am truly sorry to see that:sad: Richard:nono:
  18. Nice car Ryan - good luck with your new toy matey:clover:
  19. Welcome to the club Ryan - I too look forward to the pictures mate!! Richard:thumbup:
  20. Hi mate, You do need to have different profiles front to rear, if you are going with different width tyres. Whatever the tyre place says, it is important to make sure that the over all rolling radius of all 4 wheels is close to the same. Hence if you have 235/35/19 front, you have to go with "30" on the rear if you chose the wider 265 tyres. Richard:cool:
  21. I'm with Joel there..... You can go to 275s on the rear; but for 9 inch wheels, stick with 265 - it should cost you less too:wink:
  22. Yup - my own road was resurfaced by what can only be described as a gang of pikeys (the council must have got them on the cheap). They did such a poor job, although to the council's credit, they did get them back to re-do it FOC a couple of weeks later, but it still is not right. After a month, the front of my Merc was peppered with stone chips; and there was not a mark on it before despite me having it for nearly 3 years:mad:
  23. You probably are down in Zummerzet mate.... But you're right Si, the roads all over the UK are terrible and under-maintained. And when the councils do get round to repairs, they often do a half arsed job... Only this morning I was pootling along one of Buckinghamshire's lovely side roads and upon spotting a pot-hole, I was even more flabbergasted to see that some dozy twonk had actually painted the white line INSIDE of the pot-hole!!! Why - at least fill it in before painting the lines..... Richard:no:
  24. Mrs Hollowpoint ~ issued with permanent ban from the club and loss of all benefits. As previously stated, we do not permanently ban anyone without careful thought and due consideration. However in view of their (well documented) hatred of this club, its committee/moderators and the way it is run; along with their unacceptable behaviour at JAE last month - when at a prearranged meet with a Committee member to have a civil chat on the way forward, said committee member was meet with an instant barrage of swear words, abuse etc. and was told to piss off (in front of children, I might add) before he could even begin a civilised conversation. Furthermore Alex and Rose went on to make wild and false allegations of assault by one of our committee against Alex at JAE. The committee has decided that neither Alex nor Rose are welcome on the forum anymore. Consequently after a month of debate and in depth discussions; plus reviewing what was said and done by whom, the committee has agreed that it is in this club's best interest to permanently ban Mrs Hollowpoint as well.
