  1. What he said...... .....And many happy returns Si; I hope you have a great day mate!! Richard:happybday:
  2. Happy birthday Neil - have a great day mate!! Richard:happybday:
  3. ROFL - reminds be of one of Billy Connolly's ravings.... About 4 minutes in...... Richard:clown:
  4. In that case do the modification - and buy some US spec fogs. They are cheaper than the J-spec ones (as they don't have built in side lights) and wire them in as proper fog lights!!
  5. I have never bought a scratchcard....... Although I did win a tenner on one that was given out free at my work's Christmas party last year!!! Richard:cool2:
  6. Not for me either.... I reckon the OEM ones look best!! Richard:cool:
  7. Welcome back Daz..... .....We've missed you matey......
  8. In that case mate - I'd just leave things as they are. Clear out the orange in your UK spec indicators (as I have done) and pop them into the 99-spec where the fogs would go - then leave the 99-spec corners blank just like they are on a UK spec bumper.... ....Unless you want to buy a pair of J-spec fogs and wire them in properly.... Richard:cool2:
  9. Indeed..... .....But sad to see another UK spec (and a manual) biting the dust:no:
  10. Hmmm - tricky..... ....Personally I prefer the look of the fog lights over the ducts. But if you really need the function of the ducts - like piping cool air to the brakes or, as Si says, big intercoolers, then function over appearance. But for appearance, then I reckon stick with the lights. Richard:cool:
  11. Nice one Stevie - they are indeed dead good quality!!! I am so pleased I went for it in the end..... ..............I hope you get it fitted soon enough mate!! Richard:cool:
  12. Me too Vijay.... Sadly not everyone is so considerate nowadays mate. Richard:sad:
  13. Sad sight indeed....
  14. Happy birthday Chris - I hope you have a great day mate!!! Richard:happybday:
  15. Sorry to hear that Vijay - I'm with Andrew's comments above mate....^^^ Good luck; I hope you get it sorted, Richard:sad:
  16. It sure does Ian - shame it's being sold for spares:sad: Still, a good buy for someone here if they are after some of the nice bits on it!!
  17. Yup - caveat emptor - I second what Groover and Znut have said above.... Richard:boat:
  18. Hmmm - close!! We have chosen to go on holiday that weekend for a week; and Julia has confirmed it with her work so she can't move it to the following week..... ......BUT I should be able to move it by a day - and go away Sunday to Sunday, so I can still make it to JAE on the Saturday.....!!! Richard:hyper:
  19. Glad you have the car sorted Jim..... .....And don't let your wife force you to part company with it mate!! That's a nice 300zx you have so you need to hang on to it.... For a future investment, perhaps.... Richard:thumbup:
  20. How about both - you bring one and Julie brings the other..... We could have a mini Z meet then...
  21. Nothing today.... .....But as I didn't get on the forum yesterday evening, I did spend yesterday washing and waxing the ZX to top up the paint protection over the winter...... Sadly not Joel - it's a universal one I bought ages and ages ago, but never fitted. It looks like the dry-type of cotton gauze filter though, not oily - I found it in my garage complete with the adaptor plate!! Richard:cool:
  22. Nice one Graham..... .....And what an amazing find; a UK spec ZX hiding on The Island!!! Good luck with your new toy matey - I'll have to bring my Z over the next time we visit IoW.... Richard:sorcerer:
  23. LOL - brilliant Allan......:rofl: I kind of think the same thing Mandy - so I only buy goodies that we actually like ourselves..... We don't get many trick or treaters here as most of the kids are very young; and only knock on the houses of those folk they already know. So when it's over, we have a supply of choccie that won't go to waste!! Richard:thumbup:
  24. Welcome to the club Rich..... .....And before I saw the pics, I was wondering if you were the chap with the red kitted ZX we have seen mentioned so many times!! It's good to have you with us mate!! Richard:cool:
  25. Well it worked first time this morning - I did a restore to an earlier point last night and it seems to be working. It's surely no coincidence that every time it does a Windows update, this happens.... .....I have switched off the updates now; I expect most of them are pointless anyway - as long as I still keep the anti-virus up to date, what else do I need to update? Richard:surrender:
