  1. Hi Harms, This is the only place I know - I have never used them myself, but my (former) local garage in Gerrard's Cross used to sub-contract some of his more specialist work to them: http://www.powerengineering.co.uk/ If Gio has recommended someone, then you can certainly rely on his testimony; otherwise you are going to have to make the trip to JeffTT or Jimmer. Richard:cool:
  2. Many happy returns Vini.... Richard:happybday:
  3. Good point mate - I hope not; but with Fleabay, you never can tell.....
  4. Never smoked myself; so never had to give up - hence I have no idea just how hard it could be.... ...But all I will say, is good on you for taking the steps to give up. Stick at it mate - maintain your willpower and do not give in to temptation. You should certainly be healthier - and will definitely be wealthier; so good luck buddy!! Richard:clover:
  5. That's more like it.... And who knows, we might see one or two more like this once spring arrives..... Richard:cool:
  6. I'll take two thanks....... ....And there's the reason why....
  7. Yes and yes...... Nice one Mandy - as if our current COTY would not have passed its MOT..... Richard:flowers:
  8. Welcome back Dale...!! Richard:cool:
  9. Many happy returns Matt....:happybday:
  10. Happy birthday fellas.....:happybday:
  11. Looking good Daz - I'm not so sure about the arrows either; but the whole concept is pretty amazing!! Nice work mate:bow: Richard:thumbup:
  12. I'd have thought high load - the car weighs upwards of 1,580kg when stationary and the down-force exerted at high speed would necessitate an XL load rating..... .....My SLK requires an XL load rating (92 I think) and that's some 200+kg lighter than a ZX at rest - although at full speed, who knows! High performance tyres, in wider widths, with speed ratings of W, Y or Z would most likely all be of high load rating, I'd have thought... Richard:cool:
  13. Me neither; the circuit for the cig lighter will easily take it...... .....Great idea Lee - even better than butchering a charger!
  14. Now you've lost me......:helpsmilie: ......Nice picture though....
  15. Wow - nice find mate..... ......Great car; shame they could not find a way to hide the monstrous plenum....
  16. Agreed...... And it definitely goes to show that unless you have had the belt changed yourself, or know for sure when it was last done, you need to get it looked at!!! It might cost you a few hundred pounds; but that is cheaper and less hassle than requiring a new engine!! Richard:cool:
  17. Many happy returns Sandy!! Richard:happybday:
  18. The top two surprised me - especially considering how long ago is was....!! http://auto.howstuffworks.com/5-fastest-speeds-on-autobahn.htm#page=0 Richard:cool:
  19. Pardon my intrusion, but as cold oil is thicker, should that not say "more viscous?" As in "Honey is more viscous than water, since it is thicker.....?" Richard:shifty:
  20. It is very sad indeed - not to have been able to enjoy a long and active retirement.... My thought are with him and his family....:clover:
  21. Welcome to the club Derek - and you NI members are like buses..... .......You wait 2 years for one, and then two come along in the same week... Richard:thumbup:
  22. PMSL..... ......But seriously though; it is coming on nicely Adam - can't wait to see it finished:hyper:
  23. Great idea Daz - and with the sad number of Zeds being broken for spared, you should easily be able to source the bits mate.... Another great idea - how cool would that look in the living room!! Wife might take some convincing though....
  24. Ditto. And you can buy HID kits for pennies nowadays too...
  25. What a result - nice one Brian....
