  1. Great video Jeff - thanks, I enjoyed that.... ....Or just a very good driver... I guess, seeing as Tony Pond rallied in a Metro 6R4, he was contracted to do that run in a Rover! Be good to see it done today in a modern high performance car though - just to see how much quicker (or not) it could be done!! Richard:cool:
  2. ...And if the reverse light panel was sectioned into 4 separate lights internally, the upper red ones would no doubt be great rear fog lamps.... .....And I know I'm probably stating the obvious:wink: Actually, seeing the rear of Si's car in the above pictures, I'm with Joel. I too prefer the original look as it is less fussy.....
  3. LOL - yes....and yes.... In fact it even has the same "mascara" effect with the ill-fitting headlamp rubbers on Luke's page, as it does now....
  4. That's potential good news mate - fingers crossed for you....:clover:
  5. I am inclined to agree with this too.... I have been thinking of getting it done myself; but I'm not unhappy with the "old" look - although it certainly does make the car appear more modern. It emulates the current crop of coupes with glass sun-roofs (eg the Merc C-class); the gloss black (and yes, it has to be gloss) continues the sleek profile of the dark glass.... Richard:cool:
  6. Agreed - otherwise Jimmer at Powerzed..... Although being in North Wales, I'd wager that Zedworld is closer.....
  7. Ditto - great job Daz; I never thought I'd see a rear light conversion I would really like - but you proved me wrong mate....
  8. Nice one Ian - and the car is looking good too mate!! Richard:thumbup:
  9. Nope - does not happen to me; although I have a UK spec car, so no front fogs... Does not sound right though; possible relay fault perhaps?
  10. Scary and true Allan..... And no coincidence that Google and FB are (dare I say it) American...:shifty: Another example of "Wag The Dog" perhaps...?
  11. Dead right mate - I have never been without anti-virus; right back to my first PC I have made sure my Symantec system is always bang up to date. Can't be too careful:wink:
  12. Indeed - it just had to be there; and I agree with the NSX, MX5 and LS400 making their mark too.... Truly ground-breaking cars that took the battle right back to Europe and showed their (our) finest a lesson in automotive excellence!! Richard:bow:
  13. Nice work Alex - and I was wondering what steering wheel you were fitting when I saw your other thread... Looks a tidy job mate - especially the USB charger!! Richard:thumbup:
  14. LOL - actually, it does Si...
  15. PMSL great minds Bri - I said that on FB after Mark posted the pic on there earlier...
  16. Close enough - it's £225 per year at the current rate my friend...
  17. ...But whenever I open a web page now, be it searching for a recipe or to watch a YouTube clip or the like; or even opening up Yahoo's home page, it seems that the 'net is consistently bombarding everywhere with bloody adverts... I don't so much mind the static ones in the background - as long as they stay in the background and do not enlarge if I happen to run the mouse over the tiniest of corners - but the bloody 30 second video clips that precede a news story (especially if you can't "skip" them) really get on my nerves..... I know companies have to hock their wares; and the web page owners have cottoned onto a money spinner, but really? It's just too much now... Richard:death:
  18. Very nice Andy - and I said the same on your other thread too mate:thumbup:
  19. I like those Andy - nice work mate:thumbup:
  20. Many happy returns Daz - have a great day!! Richard:happybday:
  21. Good call Alan..... ....Here's my contribution for tonight..... Richard:punk:
  22. Yup - will do on Sunday if it's a nice day..... But I'll soon use that tankful if it is.... Better be safe than sorry Gaz - and the Z is looking damn fine matey:bow: Richard:thumbup:
  23. I totally agree Adam; as careful as we all try to be, you cannot prevent that little lapse of concentration when parking in heavy traffic - or when there's a bloody fallen kerbstone right where you are reversing into:sad: Richard:thumbup:
  24. Agreed; sad sight though it is, at least the crew were all winched to safety! It's pretty scary all round with the weather at the moment - take car out there folks!! Richard
