YouTube and z32s
Yup, you're right to be confused as it's all nonsense..... The Z32 was no heavier than its rivals - 1580kg compared to the Mk4 Supra @ 1548kg, and 1825kg for the 3000gt!! The CoG is indeed not too high as it is a wide car which sits low; and weight distribution is 54:46% front/rear..... (Mk4 Supra is 55:45 and 3000gt is 56:44%)! The undeserved reputation probably stems from that of the old Z31 - which was a wobbly dinosaur - and continued because the Z32 still remained a GT car rather than an out and out sports car. Richard:)

whats the name of that guy
Indeed - his forum name was BazzaJG.... His car was sold to a chap called Hubert (username something like Hub300); he does come online occasionally - and IIRC recently also bought Boomin's white 300zx for track use, as he did not want to ruin Barry's former car! Richard

PMSL - hope that didn't make you feel a tit..... Agreed - it's the members that make the club; we just try to do our best to help everyone make the most of it!! Yes....:shifty::biggrin: We did miss you mate and ended up just killing time until you returned.... Richard:thumbup:

Rear tire advice
Porsche did mate - they chose Michelins now (according to TG magazine, for some cars anyay)... For me the test of a really good tyre, is when they get down to 3 or 4mm of tread and still show no sign of giving up. And from personal experience Conti SC 3s still grip on at 3mm - and I hear the new 5s are supposed to be better!! Richard:cool:

Happy birthday Jimmer....

Rear tire advice
What make to you have on the front Bri - I like to have the same all round myself.... .....However for good grip on the rear, you'll be hard pushed to beat Goodyear Asymmetric 2 or Conti Sport Contact (3 or 5). They consistently receive the highest placing in independent tests - as does Michelin Pilot Sport; although they cost a fair bit more. I have Conti Sport Contact 3s all round on both my cars; and they have never let me down yet!! Richard:cool:

New car not a z
Good choice Dave - I've been a Merc fan for some time now; and as much as I like the new model, that is still my favourite shape SL.... .....Good power upgrade too mate:thumbup: Richard:cool:

newbie midlands
Brave, brave man..... I can just imagine the reaction I'd get - "Say, Julia; I know it's our wedding anniversary - and I know it's a weekend so we both have the day off - BUT I have promised to drive a mate from the 300zx forum to Birmingham and back so he can buy/sell/whatever a 300zx....!" There would be no answer; just gonads in the food blender and divorce papers shoved up..... Well, you get the gist...
