  6. LOL - if the champagne is flowing, it'll be hard to resist.....! However the ball is also still a "maybe" at this stage too - depending on how many of our friends will come along (read stump up ££s for the ticket). So it might be that we'll not be going - hence will be whizzing down to Beaulieu instead! In fact, if the ball is off, we might head down Saturday and spend the night at the Montague Arms.....
  7. Hi and welcome to the club Robert..... ....And good luck with your new purchase!! Richard:clover:

  14. Yup - UK/Euro spec Z32s all came with the hamburger logo; some USDM cars did - and others had no badge at all..... I believe it was just the JDM cars which came with the Z logo; but a lot of us UK spec owners have converted ours to the "Z" badge...
  15. Another sad loss..... RIP
  16. RIP indeed - a sad loss......
  17. A belated happy birthday mate - hope you had a great day!! Richard:thumbup:
  18. Yes - and no. A "30" grade is indeed too thin for a VG30DETT; you need a minimum "40" grade. Oilman has posted on this many times, the "w" number is the ability to circulate quickly when cold; the lower the number the quicker it gets round the engine in colder conditions. So it's not necessarily detrimental to use a 5w40 over a 10w40 - however in the UK, our winters do not get cold enough to necessitate lower than a 10w. But since many decent synthetic oils tend to be 5w40, you can safely use that with confidence too. The higher number (the "40" bit) is the oil's ability to resist shearing at high temperatures - and the VG30DETT does get hot; so NEVER use less than a "40" grade!
  19. Seconded - and that dash work looks OEM.... LOL - never mind Gaz....
  20. Looks like a good buy mate - best of luck with your new toy....:clover:

  24. D'oh...... .....But Joel is dead right. Here's to you catching the issue early and getting it fixed without fuss. And neither are MOT issues, not that it matters since you are having them fixed anyway....:clover:
  25. Woo Hoo - nice one Gaz...
