  1. I can certainly see the benefit...... ......if only because both mine and Julia's daily drives have parking sensors; and I sometimes forget the Zed doesn't...... Until the very last minute before I stamp on the brakes....
  2. Thank you for your support mate - it's most appreciated! Richard:cool:
  3. Many happy returns Rhys....:happybday: Richard:cool:
  4. A belated happy birthday Paul - sorry I missed it mate..... I was away for the weekend:oops: Richard:happybday:
  5. Interesting point there mate! IMO, for a car which has seen regular use - or one where the sill seams have seen better days, then simply painting them black makes the whole car look more tidy. However if the seams are dead straight, with no rust or creases, then I'd make sure they were body-colour; just as Nissan intended.
  6. Good call Ben.... ....And best of luck in your new home, mate! Richard:clover:
  7. You are indeed James.... ....Thanks for your support - even if you do have to part with your Zed...
  8. Yup - agreed.....!! And that little Renault looks a great car - in original condition - and in the best colour!! It's certainly an appreciating modern classic, good luck with the new toy Dan.:clover: I also remember the "Raider" special edition, in a darker metallic blue. Richard:cool:
  9. Yup - I'm interested too...... .....It sounds a great modification - I have it in the SLC; including the driver's door mirror, and have certainly gotten used to it...!!! Richard:thumbup:
  10. Hi and welcome to the club Taz....! Richard:thumbup:
  11. D'oh - another day away from the forum and I miss another birthday.... A belated happy birthday Lee - I hope you had a great day mate!! Richard:happybday::thumbup:
  12. Different markets really, so hard to advise.....! Eu18k-Eu20k for a 300zx - that's £15k-£17k at today's exchange rate; so way higher than the UK average. Eu50k for an R8 is c£43k; and 90,000kms is only 56k miles - so very low for a 9 year old car based on average UK mileages. I would say, if you want an R8 - and you can achieve your estimated return on the 300zx, then go for it and buy the R8. The R8 is a great car - the only Audi worth buying IMO, as it's pretty much a Lambo Gallardo. So as Gary says, life is too short - do it!
  13. Hi and welcome Luke! Tidy looking car you have there mate.... Richard:cool:
