I loved the customised cars in the 70s and 80s too.....:thumbup: That picture sure brings back some childhood memories - although today, I also love to see a bone stock Cortina Mk2, in good condition. My uncle has a Mk1 Lotus Cortina back in 1980, white with the green stipe and (probably fake) black leather trim. I loved going out with him in that car.....:cool:

LOL - that's what I thought Steve.... I left work in Uxbridge this afternoon - mild and sunny, so dropped the roof for the journey home. It was still sunny when I arrived, but the temperature had dropped to 5 degrees in the space of 1/2 hour and 16 miles. My neighbour told me he thought I was mad, as I stepped out of the car - as it had been snowing in Gt Missenden just 15 minutes before I pulled onto the drive. It's clear now, but just 30 minutes ago, we were sitting in the pub watching the snow come down...:lol: Richard:wacko:

Me too - looking good mate!! As for what I did..... ....Not a lot today, as I was at work...! However yesterday, I put my Zed back in the garage after taking it out on Good Friday. Started with a wash, then on Easter Saturday, a little wipe down with Sonax Brilliant Shine Detailer - followed by a week of daily use. So before the Sunday night rain set in, I made the effort to swap the cars around.... And popped my Zed back inside until the next outing beckons:biggrin:

Good points Steve - I'd like to think you're wrong and Theresa May will win over the country.... And increase her majority as the polls predict. I agree the polls were indeed wrong the last two times; and we all know just how fickle folk can be.....!! However, the silent majority has risen up and done the right thing, just in time, if recent events are anything to go by. Fingers, toes, everything for that matter, all crossed....:clover:
