Do Z1 motorsports ship to the uk?
Not quite sure why, there's only 1 way and that's to devalue the goods and even possibly declare it a gift and what ever value they lower it to, you still are taxed on that. The biggest problem is of course damaged goods or even worse missing in transit, which can happen. Any claim you have is against the shipping company and not the supplier and you can only claim the value that is recorded on the customs slip, so you could lose out big time. Other than that, like any international shipper, the import tax and vat is no concern of the shipper and nor can they alter the amount you pay unless by doing the above. As a guide, always allow a total of 21% of the sale price including shipping as well. If you get away with less, then it's a bonus. smithy

Wouldn't go turning things up if yer not sure what it actualy does or the effect it has mate. But as for getting the Zed looked at, Deffo Zedworld in Tamworth http://www.zedworld.co.uk/ or closer to home, ask for Phil at Blackmoor Service Station 363 Manchester Rd , Astley, Manchester Tel: 01942 883348 As for Shocks. KYB adjustables are not expensive and a very common upgrade. Smithy

Just ask them approx weight and size of box and then send a courier (via on line) to them to collect it. All they gotta do is box it up ready! smithy

What car security do you have
Soz mate i dunno, i put it down on my insurance form but over here they don't care if your car is alarmed or not as no one really steals cars over here lol Great bit of kit though and obviously fully trackable and allows you to phone the car and stop it if someone is driving it as well as phone them and tell them your doing it :-) smithy

Advice on clutch replacement in the Kent area?
That's about it fella. There's only a handfull UK wide who work on these cars on a regular basis and you've been given the 2 that are any where near you. It isn't a specailst job however and pretty much any garage near to you should do it no bother. Expect to pay about 250 quid for labour. smithy

Dipstick help :(
First thing first mate, you gotta sort how much oil is in there. If yer engine was so short on oil that 4 litres didn't completly overfill it, it would have been rattling it's tits off! So drain completly and fill with just under 4 litres if not changing the filter, 4 litres if you are. Whilst under there you can get a good butchers at the dip stick tube and see whats what. smithy

Clutch advice...again!
So has your box been off and then diagnosed as a knackered unit and flywheel? If not when the box is off you might see whats what, in any event just replace the disc as it's a lot cheaper. smithy

oil leak is a mystery
Sadly you gotta remove the water pipes mate, a pain in the arse i know especially if that area has been open numerous times before, but, it's the only sure fire way of knowing which pulley is at fault. Oh you could leave the water pipes on and cut the covers off and then just one day fit another pair of newly painted ones. second hand about 20 bucks! smithy

A subjective view on moderation
Well said mate  Your right in general the members create the social side of this forum, it has to have a bit more than just Z talk. What it also needs IMO is "characters" whether it be their type of sense of humour/wit/cheekiness or even their extensive knoweldge that they bring, but in short certain members bring to the club what it needs, a life and soul outside of just Z's. IMO Si was just one of those type of people and if you don't like it, don't read it and sadly in nearly all cases he was right! I just hope 1 day the committee re think if Si's character is more welcomed than not. They have overturned the odd ban before, having got it right but also got it wrong, so fingers crossed. Personally i think wtf when looking at some threads/posts that have either been moderated or deleated, but then remember that 1) there could be more to it than what i have seen and 2) as said previously not everyones understanding or perception of something is the same as anothers, albeit mods or the members of the club. It's a thankless task being a MOD and often they can't do right for doing wrong and we only ever know when they get it wrong and seldom know when they get it right! Finally with what gripes i may have with the way things are being run here, excluding what happens with our money, i don't care about them................... p.s worthy thread for the community though mate, well done :-) Smithy

oil leak is a mystery
Remove cam covers and fire engine up, hold a sheet of paper in turn just above each pulley, if either pulley is leaking then a fine mist of oil will spray onto the paper. In my case i just got a known good second hand pulley from zedworld as they big bucks new. Company in the US called BGT i think do refurbished pullies with a different spring in the back. hth smithy

Can anyone help at all?
In the drivers side footwell behind panel and on the bottom is a couple of relays, 1 of them think it's Green is for the fuel circuit from the ECU feed. This can go too.. Oh even though you have swapped ECU's, just to be certain do a diagnostic check for error codes. smithy
