was some one looking for 350Z & Infiniti G 6-Speed Trans Adaptor for 300ZX (Z32)
That ain't the best for power mate. Going back to the 350Z box, don't forget these were plagued with problems in 2003/04 with many replaced under warranty and even some still needing changing a 2nd time! Lot of money for this route for very little benefit IMO, i've always belived our boxes to be very strong, age is not on their side now of course, but other than that................... smithy

compression test results
Well thats good news, did you ever do a basic ECU diagnostic to see if any errors like ECU water temp sensor are coming up? smithy

z32 vs r33 gtr
Not understanding why it makes a difference, you modify the engine in the exact same way as you would a manual, you run various aftermarket chips as you would a manual and if it warrants live mapping, erm go to a man/garage who maps cars. You don't think garages and peeps only tune and map manual cars do you?? smithy

z32 vs r33 gtr
Many Autos run some decent power and seen then run down the strip too. In the US they seem do really well. The box on a zed in comparison to many other cars is very strong indeed, the only disadvantage is age and how well it's been or not been looked after previously! hth smithy

z32 vs r33 gtr
It can stay auto and still do 400bhp :-) smithy

Damn, Now I've done it !
You'd be quicker popping into your local nissan dealer with it and getting a new one. While your waiting, do an ECU diagnostic to se if it throws up any error codes on the ECU as to why it wouldn't start. Though you've changed the fuel pump relay and fuel pump, the ECU sends a signal to the relay and that part can blow, albeit rarely! Smithy

Yes i believed about the same, something like £34,695 but after a wee while done a price drop of around 1-2K or sumitt. Official prices have been posted on here before many years back, poss in the old forum below this one. smithy

Getting the TT engine ready
Yep but how much gain depends on the brand and of course that then determines he quality of them lasting as they (stainless ones) are very prone to cracking. smithy

Turbo spec?
Assumed (stupidly) you'd been looking at Zed turbo's and seen the 4 bolt mentioned. Anyway as your a man that likes a project, fitting these deffo would!! God luck smithy

poor starting
Lumpiness could be due to excess fuel, these babies don't like constant starting and long periods of turning the key as fuel is pumping away. Got decent plugs in it? maybe try cleaning all the usual electrical connections and even worth doing a baasic ECU diagnostic to see if it's throwing up an ECU temp code sometimes. smithy

Mis-matched clutches.... tech thread
Yikes that's harsh... Personally wouldn't reccommend a 4 puck anyways, usually a 6 puck for some decent driveability. smithy
-
Turbo spec?
Be easier if you just provide the link to them mate, but a 4 bolt turbo will fit without probs at all, in fact it's reasonably smallish smithy

Car let me down today
Green realy in drivers side foot panel feeds the pump, deffo worth checking it's giving a feed or even getting a feed from the ECU. Pump itself is not really common tbh smithy

Turbo Pictures L/R hand
Eh these guys for years have sold shed loads of turbo's for zeds from stage 1 to around stage 3-4, dunno why they need to copy owt. smithy

300zx parts trading 2012
1) it's not my place to say who i belive it is, like i said it's not rocket science. Am sure Jeff will am only assuming to be on the same wave length. 2) I would expect he is getting something in return, not that i work for him so couldn't say 100% either way. As i CLEARLY stated that imo it's in relation to just 1 aspect of things, which has some history with him, potentially again being abused and if i was in the same shoes, be pretty frustrated with!. hth smithy

300zx parts trading 2012
Not that he's told me, but i very much doubt any finger was being pointed at you Baz. As you say, your a zed enthusiast and generally a secret breaker really isn't. Having looked back at a few threads and post history in the for sale and wanted section, it really isn't that hard to see whats going on. Just 1 point i'd like to make as someone who's known Jeff and family for many years, echoes a point Lynda made, some previous members breaking cars have really left a trail of destruction behind them with faulty parts, no parts at all and running off with money, Zedworld stepped up to the mark and sourced/supplied parts to all those who suffered and he done so for no reward of any kind. Now after doing that great gesture for many members, it appears he is seeing someone else now being under hand in dealing with second hand parts. In short the one area where he helped out massively, is again being abused in his eyes and so he's letting us know his "feelings" disheartend no doubt being one of them. Only thing am pissed about is that Lynda comes on here to post and doesn't offer her infamous tea and toast specials to peeps, now thats just not good at all :surrender: smithy

Garrett T28r - T28rs diffrents
Could they have not just given you a price on a pair of stage 2 hybrids for the Zed fitment, no extra costs. smithy

Therefore you don't fall into the catergory i mentioned above, nor do i think it falls into Jeff's, though am sure he would confirm himself. smithy
