  5. Glad you got sorted mate :) but it does further highlight the "odd" problem with shipping from the US via Ebay or not. Not only has this caused you delays, you've paid out an extra 50 quid for shipping em back, 2 lots of duties and now have to wait for supplier to reimburse you all this money if he agress with your figures and possibly via paypal, so don't forget the fees! I quoted a guy the other day for a set these from stock at around 25 quid more than what these are coming in from ebay at, gotta wonder if all the hassle and expense sometimes incurred is worth it for the "possible" savings  Keep us posted on how he deals with teh refunds anyways bud. cheers smithy
  6. whilst there is room for the filter itself to fit mate, the S13 MAF stud pattern is different to the Z32, so where the filters MAF plate bolts on it will be different, so unless you can configure summit, just get a Z32 specific induction kit. cheers smithy
  7. Got mine done by kent metal finishers, which was brighter than chrome when done and cost around 200 bucks, oh and every nook and cranny was done too ;) smithy
  8. Here yer go mate http://www.aus300zx.com/tech/aiv/aiv.htm If what you have is the same, just bypass it, many do :) smithy
  9. Just buy the whole package here mate, bottom of page on link http://www.smithys-place.co.uk/brakes.php though shipping to France would certainly cost extra :) cheers smithy
  10. On me site mate and in stock :) cheers smithy
  11. Well i've made an enquiry on price so will keep you posted on what comes back mate, same goes for you should a price come your way, i just wanna get on the bleedin boat without ripping the front of my car off  cheers smithy
  12. If yer looking for something that is not airbag or the usual hydraulic, then this fits the bill, oh and it seems Japanese too :) http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=ja&u=http://www.roberuta.com/&prev=/search%3Fq%3Droberuta%2B%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D You must have coilovers in order to fit this. I believe price is around a grand and seems a lot more straight forward to fit. Just thge thing to help me get on and off the ferries :smash: cheers smithy
  13. Doh, i was hoping you had, cos am in your area Thursday morning and was gonna pop by and ask yer how to do it :p cheers smithy
  14. Have you ever changed the TT pump for an N/A Kirbz ? just wondered if it was a straight forward job. cheers smithy
  15. Clicking search and in just a few seconds reveals http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=67998&referrerid=119 post number 3 from Danny ;) smithy
  16. Looks like the good ole SE filters used to use there, good choice on the swap bud ;) smithy
  17. Ztech should be able to tell you what boost the car was running when jets and chip fitted mate as they would have needed to ensure it wasn't too high, mashed rings from running too high boost! So as everyone says, boost gauge is a high priority for you before it's too late. Boost spikes often with jets and no high/low adantages where as electronic you set highs and lows and no boost spikes. HTH Cheers smithy
  18. Flippin eck fellas you done well ;) For that kinda money is it one of these which i beleive DaveC had some time ago http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/90-91-92-93-94-95-96-NISSAN-300ZX-TURBO-KOYO-RADIATOR_W0QQitemZ8048702028QQcategoryZ33602QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem or one of these which pretty much every trader on twinturbo.net lists for around $380 (£200 in the US) before shipping etc http://www.conceptzperformance.com/Cart/description.php?II=288&Car_Type=300&UID=20060318122141217.23.170.233 Big difference between the 2 of them ;) cheers smithy
  19. Mike feeney in our traders area does stillen mate ;) cheers smithy
  20. Skyline GTR discs (324mm), New porterfield pads, relocating brackets and bolts total is £450 mate ;) and jobs a goodun :hyper: cheers smithy
  21. Phew close call mate, now you've wiped all that gunge from yer arse  bigger/better brakes on 17's and small budget. Check out bottom of the page in brakes section http://www.smithys-place.co.uk/brakes.php cheers smithy
  22. Some things you just shouldn't buy on price mate. Zed upper arms came out years after the R32 simply because it was found the r32 fitted inside our suspension perch, but there was a difference between the 2 models of cars which came apparant after failure. Inside this link below is another link http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=612631&postcount=5 showing the differences between the 2 and what can happen. With major suspension products taking stress, you need to know what they are made off, their load capacity, bearing manufacturer and type, NON sealed are pants :nono: Even on my website I state all the technical info as It's a very serious safety matter more than anything else http://www.smithys-place.co.uk/susp.php Anyone who sells these type of products should be able to tell you the info before you buy. cheers smithy
  23. am there friday morning mate :) smithy
  24. I got mine doen around 18months ago at Kent metal finishers, they have a website if you google, cost me 200 bucks :) smithy
  25. The words "what are the best" kinda starts a long debate here sometimes mate :) in answer to your question on the JTW530's, yes quite a quick spool up and good all round performer proving themselves very well  As for pistons and conrods, nope not essential at all, pistons are always a good part to replace simply cos if the car was ever modified before yourself or ran high boost, you've no idea how bad it may have detted and damaged the pistons, most cases i've seen No.6 piston has blown. Price of pistons is very good, just the labour, that said your paying to remove the engine to fit the tubs, so to split the engine and fit new pistons/rings and N/A oil squirters to suit, extra labour ain't gonna be too bad. Get a quote fella but it's not a hard job. Rest of the block is generally strong though. hth cheers smithy
