Ok guys need your help please
Before you run off and start laying cash out mate, only takes minutes to swap the ECU over, at least try one from another Zed and if that cures it, take the chip out of your ECU and either put back the stock one or another chip. I put mine in wrong once and had same symtoms, replaced with new chip correctly fitted and job done :) smithy

Found this for all you guy's that like BLING!!
Very nice, hope they have some decent way of ensuring the metal doesn't touch both terminals though, very dicey if it does and no obvious fixing points :( looks well though :) smithy

As title says, if you think you can do a decent write up on fitting my products like yampiedog has http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=36292&referrerid=119 then get in touch. Am looking for someone to do stainless steel slam panel and matching headlight covers and brake/clutch booster hoses. For taking the time out to do the wording and take pics etc, goods are very well discounted :) cheers smithy

Brake discs
:D :D Geez twice in 2 days, keep it up son, IMHO :) Richie which ever brand you buy there will always be difference of opinions. When it comes to brakes so many other factors come into play, the state of pads, the brand you use, the lines being spongy, the fluid needing replaced etc, these all play a factor within each other for an overall effect. All the brands listed here have proved their worth with different customers, suggest you search either on here or google for the best feedback from clubs. Just 1 word of warning, if you decide Brembo, ensure they infact not copies, this link will help you. http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=62454&referrerid=119 good luck smithy

Which Pads ?
Erm yeah i think you got summit alot different than the norm there bud :) btw if they turn out to be DS2500's let me know and i'll take 30 sets :D cheers smithy
-
Which Pads ?
Usually 2 main grades of Ferodo's mate, the ds2500 and the 3000 series, the 2500 being the most commonly used ones with an average price of 120 quid and the 3000 series being dearer, only concerns i've heard of and had for myself whilst using them is the large amount of dust that comes of them, though sometimes i think that is dependant on disc used as well. Hawks are okay too, the HPS being one grade up from stock and the HPS+ being the better performing, though even Hawk themselves state they can be noisey, shorter life of pads and discs and quite dusty, so a compromise really. Each to their own :) hth smithy

Which Pads ?

**Calendar Payment**
To save this thread dragging out even further, this is what Scotty updated/posted on the 13th Feb. So really anyone who's received theirs after the 13th Feb, update the list below accordingly. Scottys given a fair whack of time to the forum on different projects, so i think it's safe to assume summit ain't right with his life at the mo. So maybe the best option is if someone from here can pop round his for a cuppa and a chat, (In Fife) pick up the calenders and post em out which am sure the club will pay for, then least we're part way through making things right :) If yer reading this Scotty lad, hope alls well with yer :) cheers smithy Apollo 32 x2 - payment recieved Chrissy P deve8uk x3 - payment recieved DGM - recieved calendar Gareth B - payment recieved HeXaKing - payment recieved ianl - recieved calendar james300 - recieved calendar JD'S-Z x2 - recieved calendar Legrath - in post pete shrimp - payment recieved Royal - payment recieved Slick Pete - recieved calendar Steve-300ZX - in post SUFFOLKZX - recieved calendar Calendar 2 Angus Glover - in post BanditUK - recieved calendar ChrisD - in post greg - payment recieved jonce karlosg - in post mowgs - recieved calendar madhammster - payment recieved Mark W - payment recieved maxsunny - in post mick1 - recieved calendar Mujina - payment recieved Paul Stevens - in post Peach - recieved calendar Sgt C Spinksy - in post TiZer - recieved calendar z evo guy - payment recieved z evo guy 50 - payment recieved Both 300z xxx (Z)Master Adz2324 Apache - recieved calendar bird - recieved calendar cadpaul - payment recieved Chris@GetGReddy - in post chunk - payment recieved cybernet - in post Dark Warrior - in post emero - payment recieved indianzx JBarryD - payment recieved Lee M Magnum5 mantav8 - payment recieved Neil Morris - in post Ronco - in post Scottywil - Recieved Calendar Smithy - payment recieved StellaZ Yampiedog - in post _cj_ - payment recieved zxally

some advice?
Border is 850cc mate :) As for fuel pumps i'd be very surprised if you wern't okay with what you have on the 16g's, this would come apparent when mapping the car anywas mate and you would simply turn the boost down until you were sorted, we can sort that out anyways if need be :) cheers smithy
-
some advice?
Deffo machine lower plenum, fit late model fuel rails and then late model injector connectors to suit mate. Border kit would be more easier to fit meaning lower plenum not required to be machined. Also 555's on TD05's is pretty much on their limits, so you need to consider one of the above mate :) cheers smithy
