  1. Dohh and drat! :shifty: smithy
  2. Your welcome! The plugs are pre gapped from the factory so expect pretty much everyone simply fits them. So maybe best you search the forum for the answer or do as suggested and check the gap in them all which should also give you the answer and you'll be able to post it up.... smithy
  3. Yup, NGK PFR6B-11C No reason why you should have to gap these if new, however you could check all are the same if you really wanted too. Smithy
  4. Ok I understand it may not be the most popular place to live lol but anyone?? ta smithy
  5. Yup, Alsa paints Candy apple red over chrome with Gold pearl mist in the top laquer! :-) smithy
  6. Looking to do a wee surprise and off all the places in the UK, Skelmersdale plays a part in it lol Is anyone here from there or have very good knoweldge of the town or surrounding area? Cheers Smithy
  7. You are correct with your assumption, however in those cases the braking performance is still improved. AlanZ has for sale the complete kit in the for sale section now, perhaps he or the new purchaser will allow to copy the brackets as they were never readily available "off the shelf" in the UK. If you decide to fit the 350Z Brembo calipers, yup simply drilling a lug hole out an extra couple of mill does it, but be sure they are 350Z ones as R34 calipers which look the exact same and use the exact same size disc, are a different offsett. Smithy
  8. All i am saying is the TT discs are 280x30mm thick and the early N/A's being 26mm think. what that means for "cut outs" i've no idea but thats the disc size. Seeing as your measurements difer by 4mm, theres you answer lol smithy
  9. TT are 30mm wide and N/A 26mm wide, smithy
  10. Had this happen before, have someone use the lever while you pull or push on the tailgate to see if it catches. smithy
  11. Jesus mate you posted this 40mins after your initial solenoid thread and even then you found the info on ROBO's site, it's just you couldn't understand it, not quite let down eh..... smithy
  12. The fronts simply require the hubs/lugs drilled out to the same diameter as the bolts that you should get with the brembos and that's it. The rears however is a lot more effort and very few have done it. Smithy
  13. +1 mate  smithy
  14. Looks like that's cause it's off a much newer model, as some engine parts such as this were that colour after 96ish me thinks, though poss model specific. Of course there must be a reason why it's there tho. Smithy
  15. Oh about 90% of their stuff is copied from someone elses ideas/inventions lol smithy
  16. http://ams-pirates.com/ Personally I agree, but that is just IMO  Smithy
  17. Dunno where you getting your info from mate, i've never in all my years here heard a zedder complain about a lightweight flywheel. At one time it was one of the most popular upgrades and was nearly aalways done during clutch swaps, now i can understand " a pig to move" etc if fitted with a puck clutch or similar perhaps, as they can be difficult. A change in idle too? nahhh Go for it smithy
  18. Indiglow is 130mm x 30mm http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=1582799&postcount=23 Just to add the fixing points for the sills i done was to run the cable through the already loose carpet to the rear, remove a rear quarter panel and wire in there, there is a wee box there that controls the door pin switch and the inverter is hidden away nicely behind the panel, quite quick to do too :-) smithy
  19. The 3inch are the tightest off the lot and came out years after the 2.5in. Certainly anyone fitting the latter shouldn't have any issues. You carrying the 3in theme all the way through the system mate? smithy
  20. Yes they are handed and made for left hand drive, however in relation to shed loads of the 5 bolt versions i ever sold, it was close, but never needed any altering at all. Sadly no one in the UK makes 5 bolt versions and making from scratch is very expensive and requires the car while fabricating and that's assuming the manufacturer has had the flanges made up first! smithy
  21. Never sen the point in having a gauge in Bar as you would ever only run around 1 bar, so the needle would always sit a tiny bit below or a tiny bit over. At least in PSI you can see more exactly what boost your running down to the last digit. Cars running high boost, yeah a Bar gauge is no problemo.... smithy
  22. No where in UK so best and cheapst place is Z1 motorsports in the US Smithy
  23. Just drive it off boost as you would for most turbo cars when cold. They shouldn't come on boost till mid 2000-3000 revs smithy
  24. Nice job mate :-) dam we should have also done oem plastic sills on an exchange basis dohh Zed sean used to have quite a few invertors for about a fiver each. smithy
  25. Do a search on here as this type of thing has been done a couple times before, maybe it's been posted somewhere else dunno. Perhaps compile them and add the new and old lists together and make a sticky. The link below is quite handy and with not many parts changing on the Zed after 96 nor is there a lot of owners on here yet with them, it should still be of great help to all. smithy
