Jeff TT's MOT Garage ( Z3d w0rld)
Hi guys, Cannot get hold of Jeff as his 'phone just rings. Does anyone know which garage he uses for MOTs. My insurance company has lost mine, and time is ticking to get my tax before the "non refundable" fine comes in. I desperately need to get a duplicate. Many thanks, Simon.

New user, help.... already crashed after 23 hours of purchase
Glad to hear you're okay. Re the subscription, it's the best investment I've made since owning a 300. More than saved it with the traders' purchases and the fountain of knowledge from the other subscribers. It's also a bonus to be asked by the treasurer ( a young lady ) whether you'd like it "internal or external". Again something you'll have to wait until your a member to experience. :D :D :D Simon. You also beat my son's record of four days!! :x:

You've got my letters right, but it wasn't me, so who is it??? Probably bought from Autotech (they used those letters) in Chandlers Cross, near Rickmansworth. Come on, out the woodwork  Simon.

Help -am I being ripped off? (stereo)
Fitted mine the same James, and I can't get the surround on either. Will have a look later today and see if the surround will go under the facia plate. Simon.

£100 parking ticket!
Hi there, No they don't have any impact on your credit record until legal proceedings are taken to recover an unpaid bill. There are a number of stages the authorities have to go through before that happens. Your letter from the DVLA should stop anything further happening to you as soon as they see sight of it. Simon.

Central locking/Alarm
Have tried that Arthur. Both interior and exterior door handles move freely without opening the door. I can open the driver's window, but can see no way of getting the door card off to see if anything is manually disconnected. Any ideas peeps, Simon.

Central locking/Alarm
Sorry to drag this one up again, but it highlights my problems. 1) Drivers door locked 2) Drivers lock disconnected (key spins lock thru 360 degress) 3) Internal and external handles seem disconnected 4) Entry possible thru pass door 5) Remote control makes clunking sound inside both doors, and I can see the the internal locking knobs attempting to move What I need to find out, (having been told by my alarm engineer it's nothing to do with the alarm) is how do I open this door, so I can remove the door card and see what has gone wrong inside. Could it be this rod has disengaged?? Please help this is driving me up the wall. I am not the right shape to be angling in and out of the car on the passenger side :D Simon.

Remote central locking failure.
Guys some more assistance please. Following on from the "problem" threads, I have been able to gain entry to my car (which has a Meta 999t alarm with remote central locking). The manual lock can be moved on the inside of the passenger door, and the door opened. This cannot be done on the drivers door. The lock will move but doesn't seem to activate anything, and the outside handle seems to be unattached to anything. It was suggested that this may be due to a discharged battery, but I can now say that isn't the case, my battery is holding 13.7 volts. Has anyone any further ideas please? Simon.

Quick question

Big Problem pls read
Well guys, I'm in. Managed to fiddle it, but I am still unable to do anything with the driver's door. Lock works manually on the passenger one but not at all on the driver's side. Does this sound like a mechanical problem in the door, as there seems to be an attempt by the hands free to open it (it makes a sound in the door and clunks)? If so any ideas how I go about this, as I am not able to open the door to remove the door card. Oh and it's p1ssing down!! Simon.

Welcome Poshtotty
If I'm a self made man I want my money back. I c*cked up completely. Too much stuffing in all the wrong places. It's been fun, (rounded off a miserable day well) but I need my ugly sleep as I've a car to break into tomorrow. Goodnight, Simon.

Don't go on your starting to borg me. If your study is as extensive as you say, you may have noticed that the aforementioned DIY airbags are never equal. Are you saying they must differ by 2"?? if one happens to be of an even amount? I feel this may need further study. Maybe a group concensus. Simon.(aka :xxx: )
