  1. Have you had it since new? i.e. Is it just second hand or third hand or what.............. Has an impact on resale value!!! Simon:D :D
  2. Looking to put some of these on myself, so please help Geoff and me out and reply. Simon
  3. I had a similar problem due to the alternator overcharging. It was giving off nearly 20 volts when engine revved. Caught it before it cooked the battery, but symptoms very similar. Needed new regulator. Best of luck, Simon
  4. Thanks for the pic Andy, but I have not got the gizmo where you have. In fact I still can't locate it. I'm going to call it a day for now. I don't know if the fact that mine is an auto and an import has any bearing, but I've had enough for now. I'm not aesthetically built for grovelling around in a footwell. A bit like the 300zx, low and wide!! I'll try again tomorrow, Simon.
  5. The speed/light chime is easy, it's that other bugger that hides just out of reach!!!!
  6. Unfortunately Andy, you're wrong. I'm going to try and put the rest of my dash back together now. Still can't find the blessed speaker. Ripped out most of the drivers footwell side, but just can't isolate the right part. Anyone else any ideas before I put it all back? Simon
  7. Okay Andy, I'll give it a go. Back soon, Simon
  8. I want to disconnect it so I can hear my reversing aid!!! I've found, thanks to previous threads, how to disconnect the speed chime, but the reversing one drowns everything out. Simon
  9. I have a 1991 t/t jap import which has a beeping chime every time you put it in reverse. Fine for a few rides, but now I'm tired of sounding like some artic! Anyone any idea where the speaker for this is, or if there is anywhere "on route" I can cut the cables? Any help appreciated, Simon
  10. Any idea where I can get hold of this. Tried everywhere locally without success. (Hemel Hempstead) Any help gratefully appreciated, Simon:
  11. Their is someone selling a cd on ebay. Current price £5 free p&p to UK. Just type in "300zx" in search and it's on the first page. http://www.ebay.co.uk Good luck, Simon
  12. Sorry Mark didn't exactly answer your question. Speakers available from most car audio outlets, including Halfords. Simon.
  13. Rear speakers are available to fit in various makes. Speaker size is 6" x 4". Check mounting holes as some do not line up, but others have multiple options. Best of luck, Simon.
