First mods tend to be exhaust and induction kits. You'll get different opinions as to what is best from different people, but my Apexi induction (£120ish) and Mongoose exhaust (£550) have made an appreciable difference for me. Both are available from traders on the site, who offer discounts to subscribed members, so I'd say joining should be your first "mod". Best £20 I spent for the 300. :D :D :D Simon.

Now I've got you reading, I apologise but I'm only talking about the "others", the Brazilian ones are on a different website. :D :D I understand bushes are a consumable of the 300zx but I need some professional assistance in diagnosing whether they need replacing or not, and what ones to replace. I get a creaking and knocking noise from the offside front suspension, which is more pronounced at the beginning of a journey - ie when everything is cold. If I've been out before or been running for a while the noises are quieter. Is this indicative of a problem with the bushes? ( my car has done 66k miles). I live in Hemel Hempstead, and if there's a knowledgable owner/mechanic in the local area, I'd appreciate it if they could have a look for me. Cheers for any advice guys, Simon.

Danny, Please will you give me an indication on price for the front only, chromed. I passed my test a long time ago too, when the examiner stood at the side of the road while I made a circuit round a particular block. Now for the funny ( to some ) bit. One of the instructions given is that he will step into the road holding up his clipboard, and you must make an emergency stop. Due to being held up by a reversing transit, I arrived to where the examiner was lying in the road awaiting an ambulance, which had been called when he stepped out in front of a very bemused motorcyclist who happened to be riding an identical bike but wasn't quite prepared for an emergency stop. Poor chap broke his wrist and collar bone, but still had the decency to pass me. The other biker wasn't quite as nice. Simon. :D
