  1. I dont like the idea of getting a huge mortgage but we have been stupid and stayed in our current house for 8 years and didnt move when the market was booming so lost out and just upgraded our house which as its a pretty new house didnt really ad much value on!! so we have decided we want another newish house but with all the upgrades done :) This is the house we are looking to buy house £1200 a month mortage
  2. i should have said i am trying to keep my current house to rent out as well but if i cant then the mortage will be around £160k ish
  3. Mortgage  I'm about to take out a huuuuuuuuuuuge mortgage so it will make me feel better if i know other people have bigger loans than me  Mines going to be £200k :smash:
  4. i didnt understand them? one figure says 427bhp and another says 402bhp at the wheels so i presume the 427 is at the fly?? in which case it would be more like 370 ish at the wheels, still very good as there standard injectors :)
  5. Its a nice 33 gtr but its not 1200 bhp but around 750 but they are planning on a bigger turbo at some point and theres no way they will get a sub 7 sec 1/4 i know there after in the 8's Oh and its about 1100 kg's not 900 ;) Not sure about the colour :)
  6. Is anyone coming over my way ie lancashire late next week?? just i am trying to buy the wife a nice mx5 which is is darlington but as its a suprise and my dad is working i dont have anyone who can run me there :( and its a 4 hour train journey?? which is little strange as its only about an hours drive  Will cover the cost of petrol if some kind soul will pick me up and run me there :nana2: Mike
  7. you can fit the skyline grex kit, bolts straight on and costs about £1700 for front and the same for the backs
  8. i'm quite lucky than i know a really good importer so he keeps a look out plus he has a login for the auction houses so i keep looking on there its hard work as you can never fully translate all the stuff but after a while you kind of get to understand what the stuff is :) this was the one i was trying to buy but he wants too much (about £7k imported) its still a cracking car and if i wanted to have and keep one long term i would consider it as its sooooo low mileage (25k miles) and its got some really nice mods also just added a pic of the blue one which was running over 800 bhp ;) and its was simple stunning, shame i missed out on it :(
  9. It is luck of the draw i'm affraid, the ad needs to be right, the price needs to be right and it needs to be advertised in the right place, i got quite a bit of interest from pistonheads with mine. As people have said its a really bad time of the year and in all honesty i didnt expect mine to sell hence why i originally stuck it up for £8k and was going to just keep it up for sale until spring next year when its a better time but things changed and i needed to free up some capital for another can hence why i reduced it. Price wise i dont think yours is overly expensive but you habe 2 choices, do you NEED to sell it? if so then add open to reaonable offers on the price which may encourage someone who may not ba able to afford it at its price at the moment but may be tempted to coem and have a look and try to get it cheaper and as we all know its just a case of getting someone in front of the car or If you dont need the money then stick to your guns and leave the price and a buyer WILL come along but it may take time Mike
  10. i would love to be able to do it but i dont have the time to do it full time and i dont want loads of cars sat around but i may do it one car at a time and theres not many people bringing over really nice 300's from japan at the moment ;) i'm trying to buy a nice black example at the moment, its got 25000 miles on it and running hks 2530's but he wants too much for it at the moment but basically stuff like that and lets face it its not a major issue having to drive it around until it sells  i also tried to buy a 850 bhp zed a few weeks ago that had blown a turbo but someone outbid my in japan :( but stuff like that do come up now and again Mike
  11. dont know yet, will be buying the wife an MX5 and possible bring a zed over from japan and run it for a bit and sell it on ;)
  12. Just got off the phone and he's sending me a deposit and picking it up on wednesday :) Its going to be going to London :nana2: He has just registered on here so i#m sure he will post up ;) Mike

  18. i know but its her she just likes the mgf more but as its been said the mx5 is a better car so looks like i will be looking for one of them :)
  19. buying the wife a car for christmas as a suprise now she wants a 2 seater sporty convertible so ive been looking at cars and i know she loves the MGF's and the MX5's so i need to decide which one?? i have around £4k to spend but she doesnt like the mk1 mx5's with the pop up head lights!! but i may stretch a little higher for a mk2 mx5 but if she's honest she prefers the MGF but i must think of reliability etc so opinions please :d Mike
  20. Interested in a car for the wife there so wanted someone to check it out for me to save me driving over there just to have a look?? A beer in it for someone  Mike
  21. also from looking at them there not the hks ones!! the hks ones have the GT badge on them and HKS embossed in the housing, if it doesnt have them then there the cheaper garrett ones, not much difference turbo wise but the hks ones are more expensive so if you have paid hks money then i would be asking questions!!
  22. and how sad is it that i know what a turbo is by looking at a picture!! too many nights looking at turbo specs and pictures i think LOL
  23. they will not fit without either major work on the flange to make it fit the oem manifold or you can buy a set of either pentroof or escort manifold as they both make them with the correct 2835 flange fitment but in all honesty there not going to be easy to make fit Mike
  24. they look bigger than t28's poss look like 2835's?? and they look like they have a t3 manifold flange on them?? difficult to tell from the pic
