Well got my first telling off on a website :smash: Was i wrong to do this? Theres a guy on a home cinema who advertises a parcel posting service via parcelforce, now as many of you know i am a manager for parcelforce so in his ad he advertises it as a non profit making service and i know for a fact that he nearly doubles his money on every parcel, now i could have ignored this but i felt as a reseller of our services i should pm him and ask him to remove the line where he says he doesnt make money on it?? Well he didnt take it very well!! :xxx: Posted up my pm, started going into how much his overheads are, which he pays someone £7 per hour to process all his orders?? then goes onto say he has had 13 orders this week and he pays someone to do the orders mon-fri 9am to 5pm?? now bearing in mind it takes a few seconds to process a parcel with us :rolleyes: so i simply said well can i work for you then as your staff are clearly underworked LOL anyway after a few more posts a mod says if i post anymore on that site i will be banned :xxx: he worse thing is technically i should cancel his parcelforce account as we have a mininum pricing structure for resellers of our services and he is well under the price!! i disagree, mac was offered well and i mean well over £10k for his, i got offered well over £10k for mine (once finished) and i know of a few which have sold for close to £10k as well so if you get the right zed and the right person then you can get £10k ;) tbh its the same on any car you never get much of the money you invest in mods back, way of the world i'm affraid but if the cars been done right they can still command decent money

to solve that you remove the plugs and dry them off, also helps if you warm the plugs up with a hear dryer etc then stick them back in a hey presto :dance:

it is a nice looking car, would look alot better out in the open i recon :) and lets face it its not major expense removing the lights and removing the spoiler ;) a few hundred quids worth of work!! the abflug wide arch kit is mega expensive so its had a fortune spent on it. Mike

i agree but at the end of the day its an old car, even if you get a newer one your still talking a 10 year old + car!!

My opinion is: Depends what you want from your car/toy is it a fast road car? then the evo is the better car all round is it a top end speed car then tbh the zed is the best one if you want a more unusual car that handles well for a rwd car then maybe the rx7 but i dont like the sound of them. i know people slate the scoobies but my in law has the type r 2 door running pretty standard and upto 120 mph is will do most cars including zeds!! 0-60 in 4.3s which aint bad out of the factory :) if i had an evo it would have to be the evo400, i have driven one of them and its mental, 0-60 in 3.8s and does 180+mph and does handle very very well.

i think ive already said this to you mate but the car you got has been nothing but trouble and it needs putting down ;) break it up for bits (which will make you feel alot better ripping it apart!! trust me it will) make some of your money back on it and buy a decent one to start with :) theres plenty of them around. if you need any advice give me a bell Mike

once you get over the magic 400 mark then the pistons will not last long, i guarantee it, people have said stock internals will last etc etc etc but they never do and it soon goes pop, yes you will go well over 400 with the 16g's so its not worth taking the risk as its another engine out job!! do it right the first time ;)

tell me about it this year is gonna be a bad one for me!! she wants to move so thats gona cost me £10k to fund the move, stamp duty etc i have hired a massive villa in marbella in august for a massive family holiday which has cost £4k she has a nice new mx5 convertible feck me its a little one way this LOL

are you sure its not a bit of oil? rather than scorched? are your bovs on the outer pipes or the inner pipes?

They do have an adjustor screw in them and they do work ;) and very loud :) sometimes if they have not been used for a while they can stick so worth getting someone to rev the engine to 4-5000 revs with you with your hand over the bovs to feel if there "dumping" ok :cool:

i was just going off the spec of the car on Z1's site?? i know theres been a load of this on the gtr site about a guy in the usa with a skyline running hks turbos which wont make more that 500-520 rwhp at max boost ie 1.4 bar and he has a dyno sheet at 1 bar with it making 650 rwhp :rolleyes: on 550cc injectors :xxx: those yanks :tongue: also just to add yes i'm sure they used higher octane fuel but you still need the fuel supply to make the power, just means you can run more timing with higher octane fueling

nothing against the car, as i said i love it but i know about tuning cars and i know how much fuel a car needs to be able to run that type of power, now if it was running 1200 or 1400cc injectors and bigger pipework then yes maybe but its not possible to run the power he is saying!! also the dyno which they use always shows up "interesting" results, ive seen dynos of nearly 600 rwhp on stock turbos and stock injectors on that dyno!! Lovely Lovely car but no way on earth is is running over 1000 rwhp for a start its running 740cc injectors so at most it would ever run including nos is around 700 bhp and even if you added the nos as extra its running a 100 shot so it doesnt add up to over 1000 :rolleyes: usual USA BS BHP i'm affraid still its a stunning car and i would have it in a shot :dance: Mike

yeh the stereo wiring was all over the place, i put the screen in but had real problems as the existing wiring was..well shite and the gauge wiring behind it was aweful :wack: i kept insisting he bought the car back to me so i could sort the wiring as it "bugged" me LOL just for the record chris wasnt dodgy but he did have some problems including family problems :( Mike

Yeh wondered when it would come up on the board again :) Ive spent many hours on it as well ;) Nice car, got alot of money in it and never missed a beat on the Z Run last year. As others have said just tighten up all the clips and it usually sorts it or replace the clips Mike

yeh sorry was having a mad moment, had the jun plenum in my head with the q45 single throttle :D still think that it wouldnt be worth the gain but i suppose until its been done then we wont know?

the rb26 has a single throttle body?? :confused:

is it me or can you have a 6 open throttle body conversion done with forced induction? and if you tried to pipework it all up, i would imagine it would be a knightmare? would work well on a z32 na or a v8 conversion
