Guest mike_s14 Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 what have you uprated on the rear brake setup? first option is better quality pads and discs with steel lines or larger discs with maybe 4 pot calipers, how much and where Cheers, Mike :) Quote
vijay Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Pretty sure most people don't bother upgrading the rear brakes, I certainly didn't :) Vijay Quote
kirbz Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 you can fit the skyline grex kit, bolts straight on and costs about £1700 for front and the same for the backs Quote
Guest andyduff Posted November 26, 2006 Posted November 26, 2006 Not much point doing the rears IMO. Once you fit bigger front brakes then the weight transfer to the front wheels under heavy braking is even greater, therefore less 'effective' pressure on the rear wheels so less grip to take advantage of increased braking force. Hope that makes sense... Quote
