to give you an idea, if you want to enter totb next year they will be limiting it to fewer cars so to qualify in the RWD class your looking as needing to do a 11 poss 10 sec 1/4 mile and be able to enter the handling course. to win any points these are the type of figures your gonna need to do: 1/4 - sub 10.5s Top - +175 mph in 1 mile Handing - sub 40 sec the car you need to be looking at is joels viper as he always scores points, but last year he only just scored points and he is running 800+bhp!! i have been trying to get the rules changed with chris who runs totb and think there needs to be a pro AND and street class but it doesnt look like its gonna happen :( so this means your always going to be up against the likes of the tuners demo cars ie calder supra, dragon rx7, envy supra etc etc

RWHP is about 15% loss through the wheels but if you get a figure from a dynopak as they remove the wheels and bolt it straight to the hubs you lose the wheel weight as well so you get a higher figure ;) so if you have a fly figure work out what 15% is :)

from what i heard his was mapped up with the nos and was given a figure of 400 so he added the nos and the wheel loss on top of that to make 530 but infact it was including the nos but hey ive been wrong before LOL i'm sure he will be on here soon to tell me off :slap:

macs was 505rwhp if i remember right, i was running 479 but with the bottom end gone, boomin is about the same, cj is also about the same, last i heard from vinces when it was at thors it was around 400 bhp inc nos at the wheels so not sure??

no his is running hks 2530 turbos and max is running greddy 18g turbos which are bigger. fastest wise, its a silly questions really because no one which has heavy mods have run the car, at the moment jaffa's car is technicaly the fastest as he has run a 12 sec 1/4 mile but his has a much bigger spec now, i know mac is enjoying his being a road car and is not too bothered about running it on the strip etc russ's car i believe is running now which has a decent spec, cj's is running now and a decent spec apart from mine which the engine, turbos etc have all been sold to the same person so his will be a beast and i believe hyper sports are building a full jun engined car running the same turbos i had?? so all in all theres some pretty tasty zeds around at the moment and next year ;) Mike

thats a wings west copy, about the best looking bumper for the zed but it all depends how think the fibreglass is and what quality the fit is!!

Not really worth anything!! i would say sell the bits like the interior, ecu etc and you may get something for the shell but i doubt it, ive just given one away and i know slickpete has as well as a few others so not alot i'm affraid Mike

it did have some nice bits on it and god knows where he got the border rail from so whether the car "was" running decent power at some point but tbh it has no gauges, no aftermarket ecu etc etc so i doubt it but hey ive been wrong before

I couldnt resist visiting this car today :D Hmmm not exactly 850bhp :x: Running standard injectors, running standard AFM, running no aftermarket ecu, running standard manifolds and turbos (from what i could see) he said it had tein suspension but it didnt etc etc To be honest it was a clean zed with low mileage and it did have some strange mods to it and some strange wiring under the bonnet, and it did have a boost controller but apart from that it was pretty much a standard zed with standard brakes, the guy has either been fed all the crap or he is full of crap?? i couldnt decide either way :confused: But even after all the above he did have a few bits which rang true?? the first thing i said to him was ermm wheres the border fuel rail?? so he came up with he removed it to sell it?? be then goes to a shelf and shows me the border fuel rail :eek: He kept asking me how much its worth so i told him about £5k so he said he has been offered £10k for it so i said snap their hands off at the arm :smw: Mike

i dont think he realised the door was locked when he shut it too and he was made up working on it as he wants one himself but still not too happy that its piss wet through especially the doors etc but on the other hand the guy has fitted total closure as well foc for me :) and i did get a cracking deal on it ;)

would be great but i can imagine it would bring its own problems, hangers on, beggers etc you couldnt stay in the area you are etc and if you have kids you would always be worried as it only takes someone desperate to take them wanting money and lets face it after 6 months of buying everything you could want what would you do then?? you would need to do some kind of work?? saying that i would risk it for 100 mill LOL

Having a new alarm fitted today and the fitter nipped out before to get some lunch so handed me the keys while he went anyway came back he had not left the car open and the alarm wasnt wired in yet and my car does not have any locks ie has the key hole but nothing else to stop people getting in and you guessed it we was locked out!! Luckely the door was only on the first latch so after 2 hours of bending a coat hanger and arsing i finally managed to get enough on the inside lock and pull it to open the car door :o So the bloody guy is now getting even wetter as well as me car as its pissing t down and all the doors and bonnet are open and im getting warmed up :hyper: better get some discount as theres a few scratches where we got in :(

well i have changed it as i was bored LOL and decluttered the dash and moved the AVCR and removed all the laser and cameral thingies :tongue: still need to do a few jobs but not worth doing tonight as i'm having a new alarm fitted tomorrow as the one on it is a bit dodgy Mike
