  1. thats one clean 300zx ;)
  2. christ the way the team is going i would be better in goal for us
  3. he could always pick carlton cole :headvswal
  4. I'm talking 1/4 mile now :D Why is it that the 300zx struggles to get into the high 12's doing the 1/4 mile when a stage 1 supra ie around 1 bar of boost on oem turbos can get into the 11's? Both similar power, both similar weights, both RWD Answers on a postcard
  5. god knows mate, you have people who are scoring day in day out but not given a chance. i always thought that if you were the best in your country in your position then you should play for your country and strikers must be the easiest position to pick?? who scores the most in the premiership plays LOL
  6. i'm waiting for my knuckles to heal first before i tackle this
  7. LOL why??? just sell it and guy a sunny gtir and save all the hastle and money of buying a supercharger
  8. its actually dead easy bud, takes about 15 minutes to do it once your bumper is off :)
  9. tell me about it  i'm getting all the other jobs done and keep putting this back :smash: but must get it done
  10. yeh i did think about it LOL but i bought the skyline after that ;)
  11. yeh there about £600 each without tyres LOL they came on the car when i got it :D the previous owner knackered every wheel with what looked like a hammer and chisel!! so the first thing i did was get them refurbed when i bought it :) oh and put new tyres on
  12. yeh it can as its part of the pressure system but its easy enough to remove :)
  13. just save weight really, if your messing with the SMIC then its a job you may as well do when the bumpers off, you sometimes get a fuel smell at first but it goes after that
  14. they were 19" volk sf challenge 2 piece split rims :)
  15. oh yeh and need to get a new plate made up for the front LOL mines the old jap square one :smw:
  16. vac leaks make it run richer as the car thinks there is a certain amount of air in the system so put the correct amount of fuel in for it but if its leaking there not enough air to mix with it so it runs rich which is what mine is doing LOL
  17. gtst brakes are the same as the 300zx??
  18. LOL same as mine, pi55ing out on the passenger side near the manifold so its either the manifold gasket or the turbo to manifold gasket :( You can get to it, just have to remove the battery and battery shelf, remove the oil and water feeds for the turbo then you can remove the turbo then get to the manifold :) sounds easy when i say it like that LMAO
  19. Got some more done today :) Dad trial fitted the new wings and yes they fitted better but the wrong colour :smash: same colour but slightly darker and stood out a mile so took them off and had a mess with the old wings and made them fit much better :) Fitted 45 degree silicon couplers to the inner pipes on the FMIC to make it all fit better And finally got the 99 spec front bumper on :) Looks much better, very happy with it and not a bad colour match. Had to rewire the indicators as it had the newer plugs on and the bumper never came with the other side so hade to put the older bulb holders in the newer indicators but works fine but one slight issue Cant fit the side lights now as the fmic is too big so left out the hard plastic bit that sits behind the bumper and going to do something with the indicators and wire a bulb in there if a can but its not a huge issue at the moment ;) And lastly got new tyres all round  my breaker car came with spanking new toyos for the rear so had them swapped over and fitter new toyos on the front to match :hyper: so got some grip now. Anyway having a well deserved beer or two!! first beer ive had since JAE :duffer: Took a few pics when i got the car back Mike ps nice to meet you trev, if you need anything else just ask buddy
  20. Here was mine, didnt keep it long as it needed work but was a stuidly fast car!! I would have kept it but it wanted to go sideways at any speed so i thought fook this get rid, then got a buyer and while i was getting it ready for sale i noticed the coilovers were set wrong at the back and once set to the right height both sides it was a different car :) but i had taken a depost by then LOL Mike
  21. Obviously you can get a TT in a manual 6 speed but not the TT aerotop unless its been converted to manual ;) for some reason then never made it?? silly toyota LOL The best thing about the supra is it has forged pistons as standard so you can go to 550-600 bhp pretty easily, mate of mine had a uk tt and took it to 550 bhp for £2k which is amazing bhp per pound Mike
  22. The Mk4 supra is a superior car in most ways as its newer but they dont look as good, the interior is one big block of plastic but there screwed together much better than a nissan and there easier to tune :) But they dont have the soul like a 300zx in my opinion Mike
  23. i was told its costing him nearly 100k to do this!!
  24. No bud nearly all the top dynos are all wheel dynos so the weight of the wheels etc are included in mapping and the power figures. If you do a search on all the clubs its common knowledge that hub dynos are well out to what a real dyno will read, the hub figure is closer to the flywheel figure on wheel dynos and thors flywheel figure is a guess based on a persentage of the hub figure.
