1. if your doing both manifolds then yes you need to remove the engine or at least lift it half way out!! you can get to the passenger side manifold but its not easy and you still have to remove the turbo first good luck ;)
2. why do you want to remove the manifolds then? the exaust system starts from the downpipes and even if you want to replace the downpipes you can get to them from under the car :) Mike
3. Nearly as good as me
4. yes the getrag box is very good and handle decent power without falling apart LOL
5. i disagree, the oem nissan system works very very well indeed and rarely fails people who convert to an electric fans suffer more from over heating than ones who stick with the original fan ;)
6. been around for years that one, its a fake and done in PS ;)
7. 36 years old, no no claims for this car but its on a classic policy so not needed, limited to 3000 miles a year, good postcode, garaged, must have a cat 1 alarm, 3 points on licence, mods declared etc Mike
8. LOL i thought it looked weird the quote ;) Mine used to catch on everything but i recently changed to a 99 spec front and its a bit higher so i dont seem to catch as much anymore so got more confidence in going out now :) Theres loads of nice roads near me and the lake district is just up the road :)
9. i run my own business bud why?
10. i think the father in law is coming with his scooby so thats another :)
11. As usual since owning this zed ive had it in bits :D anyway got it pretty much how i want it for now, still a few its to do but had to use the car to visit a customer today near kirkby lonsdale. Weather was nice, roads were dry and clear so had my first chance to give it some welly  I'm a very very happy bunny, couldnt run it at full boost as i still have this leak but even running at 0.5 bar its bloody fast and with the spanking new toyo T1R's it gripped like a 50 stone man onto a mars bar :) Forgotten how well these cars can handle with the right setup and rubber, was getting upto silly speeds on some really nice camber bends, all within the speed limit of course :D Silly thing is if i was running any higher boost i dont think i would have had as much fun if you know what i mean but anway car performed perfectly with only one downside!! Used 1/4 of a tank to do about 10 miles :slap::rofl: Mike
12. Just changed my insurance over to lynbrook. £238 fully comp with a £250 excess :) Includes breakdown and legal cover and also covers trackdays :hyper: Cant get much better than that Very happy bunny Mike
13. Bet you cant wait :) Let me know how you get on ;) Mike
14. Nice one Kim :)
15. TBH i have never done a 1/4 mile, always had the car in bits or didnt want to break it LOL but i'm getting the urge to use this one on a track and 1/4 mile :)
16. not sure bud but there mightly fine times for a bpu supra with a home mapped car :) just been looking at the weights of the cars and mine should be about 50kg lighter than the supra and once i get the leak sorted should be running a good bar of boost so guessing around 350-380 depending on how strong the engine is so with sticky tyres i wonder what time i could get down to? Mike
17. i think that was a supra shoot out day that you linked, theres an overall one heres the link bud http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=166336 Mike
18. if you look at the overall grid the top one is on stock turbos running 1.1 bar on an auto box and ran 11.58 1/4 mile with a 114.78 terminal speed!! was running street legal sticky tires
19. They sound dead hard  You see this is the kind of reply i am on about, sarcastic, aggresive and you imply that your linked with this garage or others. You need to wind your neck in buddy, your obviously a car trader, obviously linked with certain garages.
20. thats disgusting a terrible way to run a business, i hope the guy who had the deposit down went back and shoved a baseball bat up the owner of WRC's arse
21. no its not :smash: at the fly a stage 1 well put together zed is around 360-370 and a supra is slightly more at 380-400 for bpu so not much in the real world difference ;)
22. mines running a bit rich, it does have a lumpy idle but you can hear a faint popping on idle through the exhaust so mines over fueling a little but i do have a big leak on mine and possibly a lazy o2 sensor as well LOL
23. sounds to me like it could be one of a few things, o2 sensor would be the first thing to check, boost leaks would also cause this Mike
