  3. I need a regional events organiser for the south/west yorkshire. If you are a subscribed member in either of these areas and you feel you can make a difference and arrange local meetings please PM me. The regional event organisers are a really important part of the club!! without meetings we are just an internet site. Next year i hope to put together a range of events over the year and need the help to make this happen so if you have what it takes please let me know. Cheers Mike
  4. Bump Come on guys/gals still looking ;)
  5. No worries Kim, was just getting enough interest before i moved it but you beat me to it :D
  6. Very nice, wish i had bought one of them now but ahh well LOL
  7. LOL have sent you a PM ;)
  8. looks nice, where did you get it from bud?
  9. I think if you base the costs on 2 people sharing a room and the ferry your looking at: £140 for the ferry £20 each night hotel So i recon around £220 each plus fuel and beer money :duffer: but once we get better numbers i will see if we can get a better price from the ferry company and hotels etc :)
  10. is that the aeromotive one? very nice, i got mine cheap as i wanted one with a gauge because the previous owner had a few pressure issues so wanted to check the pressure is stable :)
  11. its a mines copy i think but works well and its decent made looks like this one
  12. your confusing me now :D have a chaser with you next beer bud :p
  13. must admit when i read the specs its so over engineered its silly but as you said it was miles ahead of its time
  14. No, its part of the FPR in the engine bay bud
  15. i knew what you meant LOL
  16. "The pressure regulator maintains the fuel pressure at 299.1 k (2.991 bar, 3.05 kg/cm3, 43.4 psi). Since the injected fuel amount depends on injection pulse duration, it is necessary to maintain he pressure at the above value." thats what the official nissan service manual says the pressure is LOL clear as mud
  17. cheers jimmer, i suppose what i meant was couldnt nissan have just said its 37.78 psi on idle at the fpr? you know what i mean something exact? or am i being an ass
  18. Picked one of these up today http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/7017467/Trail/searchtext%3ETOOL+KIT.htm I did have a set similar but my dad snaffled it LOL so thought it was time i got some more tools. Dont get me wrong apart from the sockets and a few other bits i binned some of the stuff but for a metal cabinate with a decent selection of sockets i thought it was a bargain at £66 Just thought i would post this up in case anyone was looking for a cheap tool kit Mike
  19. I understand bud, i was just thinking wouldnt it have been easier for nissan to put in the big book that at idle the pressure at the FPR is = A As most people will check the pressure at idle when the vehicle is stationary
  20. also 780z car is not a 300zx ;) i also dont believe the cars above run 300zx engines and boxes anyway so dont really count in my eyes
  21. Yeh i thought that but this is what the big book says "The pressure regulator maintains the fuel pressure at 299.1 k (2.991 bar, 3.05 kg/cm3, 43.4 psi). Since the injected fuel amount depends on injection pulse duration, it is necessary to maintain he pressure at the above value." you would have thought it would have given a different reading at idle if its not 43.4psi?
  22. In the BIG nissan book it says at the FPR is should be 43.4 psi But reading back on other threads they say its lower? So what should the pressure read on idle?
  23. Going out at 1pm and were staying out then going to a charity do at 7pm then staying out so its going to get messy tomorrow :wack::hyper:
  24. Another little job today :) Fitted a mines adjustable fuel pressure regulator with gauge  I did have a braided fuel kit on but i didnt want to chop into it and possibly wreck it so sold that and for the time being just fitted standard fuel line. So set it up to the oem fuel pressure of 43.4 psi and all it well :) Then i got rained off..................again  Not doing too much tomorrow, just boxing a few bits up that are sold ready for posting on monday then its out for several beers to watch the match and possibly stay out to make a night of it :hyper:
