doing ok buddy, sold my house just before christmas, lost loads on it to sell it but had to get rid as i couldnt afford to run the house :( so back at my mums for a while to get back on my feet and hopefully buy myself a little house somewhere lol

i do like the look of them but for what i use them for i need a pc, its pretty much surfing the net, download a few bits and bobs and some work mainly ms office stuff so i think a mac would be wasted on me? i like the look of the dell xps laptops?

Right i have a decent spec laptop, its a dell studio 15 its got bluray, 4gb ram, 320gb hdd etc and i use it alot Just before christmas i bought an ipad as i love my iphone and most people said it would make my laptop redundent but to be fair it hasnt!! its a great bit of kit but it just sits there in fact only my son uses it really lol So been thinking of selling them both and upgrading my laptop?? So come on you IT geeks recommend a laptop for me :thumbup: Also any idea what kind of price i'm looking at for my laptop? Cheers Mike

Hi All I havnt been on much in the last 6 months due to various things happening in my life as most of you know. Anyway after losing the wife, gaining a girlfriend, losing a girlfriend, losing the business, gaining a job, gaining another girlfriend all seems (touches lots of wood!!) to be going fairly well :) Still cant sell my house and have dropped it to below what i paid for it 4 years ago so i stand to lose money now but i have also come to terms with the fact that i'm going to have to move back to the parents for 6 months to save up some money to buy another house!! wont do much for the sex life but hey its only 6 months!! I got the all clear from the cancer so that was a massive step in the right direction. Losing the business was very hard as it employed not just me but 3 family members so i fought long and hard to keep it but in the end i was financing it out of my own pocket and i simply couldnt afford to do it anymore so ive had to go back into sales which luckely i found a half decent job straight away and started last week. I have treated myself to a midlife crisis car lol as i get a car allowance i was looking at several cars including the new golf, scirocco, A3 etc but i found them so dull, anyway i was driving past the peugeot garage about 3 weeks ago and spotted a lovely looking car, i was shocked when i saw and drove it as i never thought peugeot would make a nice looking car like this!! the figured stacked up very well indeed and my son loved it so i thought what the hell!! you only live once and its not like i have a family now so i bought a new peugeot RCZ and picked it up last week :) Anyway i would just like to thank everyone for the messages i still get asking after me and once i am settled i should have alot more time on my hands so i really must subcribe again and will be back on more ;) All the best Mike

Just a quick update on my life. As you all know last year sarah my wife of 14 years left me and it turns out was having an affair for quite a while!! anyway a couple of weeks after she left late last year i found a lump and was diagnosed with testicular cancer and on top of that my business was in serious trouble so didnt have the best of times!! Anyway since then i have had an op and a small lump removed, was less painful than i thought and was only in for 15 mins and the doctor said he was really pleased as it was easy to remove and have since been given the all clear :) Ive also met a really nice lady and been seeing her for a couple of months now and things are going pretty well, dont get me wrong its still a little odd being with someone else but its all good. Business wise things are still hard work but were still here and still going and things are on the up!! not out of the woods just yet but getting there slowly. I think Kim is possibly doing better than me weight wise now but i'm happy as i'm now just over 17 stone and was 22 stone in october so i can get clothes to fit me now :clap: Only bad thing still in my life is i still cant shift my house :( so still stuck with big bills and a moaning ex wife wanting money but apart from that my life is really turning around so i hope to make more time to get back on the site :) Anyway again many thanks for all the support you guys have given me and the kind messages i got All the best Mike

As i said on the phone steve, i feel for you bud and really hope theres a good solution for you and your parts are there. Obviously we need to leave opinions until after tomorrow and the facts are in but i cant help thinking that some of the parts would simply not have been stolen by a "normal" thief who in 99.99% of cases take simple easy to carry and sell things so if your fully built engine has gone i seriously think the "break in" is foggy at best as a thief doesnt winch an engine off an engine stand then wheel it into a van!! if your going big power then the smaller the wheel the better but if you want a wheel which looks good then go 18" with 8 or 8.5" fronts and depending on how agressive the offset you want you can go from a 20 to 35 with a 235 or 245 tyre, with the rear go for a 9.5" with a 35 offset, anymore and it would stick out further than the arch unless its flared. tyre wise 265 or 275. If you are going big power then the lighter the better and strong so go with a volk or similar Mike

As most of you know i split up with my wife a few months ago, anyway i'm trying to move on and enjoy my life a bit more So over the last week ive had a couple of "encounters" LOL with a couple of women :shifty: anyway one of them after seeing her twice has told me she loves me :no: that was a passion killer i tells ya. Now shes a lovely woman but she's not the usual type i would go for if you know what i mean? my "ex" is an extremely good looking sexy woman and this woman well is not so now i feel really really bad and i dont know what to do.
