20 minutes!!! must be in one of the posher parts of liverpool :p
  7. The main thing to think about it to enjoy yourself going round the ring :) theres lots of varied cars which go round from cars worth £250 to million pound racing cars all on the same track at the same time ;) I went round in about 10 mins in my golf gt tdi and i didnt give it any beans at first but as i got confidence i did push it towards the latter stages and i have to say its one of the best things i have ever done and if it wasnt a company car i would have gone round a few more times :) As its beed said, make sure your car has been well serviced including good quaility brake fluid, all brakes are in good working order etc i dont believe you need to change your brakes if there good anyway but it depends on how you want to push your car when on the track as it is the most demanding track in the world!! especially on suspension etc Jeff at zedworld is going to be running a meeting at zedworld a week or 2 before the trip to go over peoples cars if they want :) Mike
  8. i say the cas as it sounds like my old R32 which ran fine for 30 seconds then just died, turned out to be a bent CAS disc so replaced it and ran perfect :)
  9. or if you cant then you can always block up the feed into the turbo hot pipe and run a catch tank from the pipe you have which is a breather pipe
  10. best way is to try to line up the bracket which holds the pipe to the right of the green arrow :) think it bolts up just below the plenum

  12. i know of a few people after doing a rebuild having oil in the exhaust, takes ages to burn off causing smoke? might be worth doing a compression test to make sure everything is sealed on the bottom end?

  16. its not good feeding wife beater to a laptop though ;) best bet is to take the battery out and leave it to dry out then take it apart and clean it all up. Mike
  17. try pouring lemonade in it to dilute it down to a shandy??
  18. Cheers for that Rob, thats the hotel we stayed at in 2006 and yes its very good there, nice big carpark and only 15 mins from the ring :) Was the ring still open to the public after 5pm or all day Mike
  19. i didnt win :( no doubt some 70 year old granny will have won it who will still live in her council house and still do her cleaning job  if i ever won it i would sort out the family, hire a villa somewhere for a month or 2 while i calm down and contemplate what to do then come back buy a nice house with a garage that can house multiple cars and then fill it :D also i would raffle my slicktop off to a member on here :)
  20. Not a big fan of the newer stuff but love the older m sport 3 series but this ones seriously cool, would love to hear it  http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1234580.htm

  22. There not common to fail bud, mainly age, too much boost, maintenance issues etc but the oem headgasket on a 300zx is very good and very reliable :) Mike
