  1. Wooooohooooo now has MOT LOL
  2. no thats not it buddy, the boost solonoid plugs are about half way on the plenum on the sides, cant think that that plug is?? i'm sure someone will recognise it ;)
  3. but pete its a girls car :D:p
  4. its dead easy to do, check for unplugged plugs at the side of the plenum to see if the stock boost solonoids are plugged in? if they are then its probably your det sensor thats faulty which will show up code 34
  5. i always remove the rubber strip at the rear of the engine bay as that stops the heat passing out of the rear of the engine, it does help and you can always space out the bonnet but i must admit i'm not a great lover of the look but i would do it if i was going on the track at some point :)
  6. yeh safety boost cuts the boost to psi if you do an ecu check i would imagine you will get an error code? Mike
  7. he got them from the gtr club, i saw them myself and was very tempted but i had an eye on some others on ebay but was for front and rear brembos but they went for more than i wanted to pay LOL
  8. sorry cant remember but if your quick theres some hks ones cheap on the gtr forum ;) http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/125151-pair-genuine-hks-uprated-turbocharger-actuators-hks-2540s-spares-repairs.html Mike
  9. in an ideal world the closer to the throttle bodies the better, the stock recircs are under the nose panel on the throttle pipes
  10. depends which pipe you mean for the boost controller?
  11. i have been to both rolling roads and i must admit and its not because its closer but steve at teg is very very good and much more knowledgable than the guys at tdi, they really struggled with my 300zx but that was a few years ago?? i hope my car will be all sorted and running 100% by then so put my name down :)
  12. i agree but the problems are most radiators are 15 years odd old so dont perform to the original specification :) i am about to upgrade mine, not because something is wrong with it, its just prevention rather than cure :D
  13. Well some goodies came today for the car, thought i would try the cheaper route as i'm on a budget and to try out some of the cheapo products on the market at the moment :) First i have an uprated radiator for a massive sum of £140 delivered. First impressions are its ok for the money, the welds are a bit rough in places, nothing like the quality of a koyo but you get what you pay for and as long as it does its job then i'm happy with it. Second i have a front mount intercooler which was £250 delivered. Now before people say about front mounts vs smic the main reason i have got this is for the look of the car not huge performance. So first impressions are very good, alot better quailty than the radiator, looks well put together with decent end tanks and i was very impressed with the pipework quality and decent silicon couplers!! even the clamps are good quality ones :) So the idea is for the price i can sell my existing smic's i have got a new intercooler and a new radiator ;) Took a picture of the intercooler kit. Mike
  14. not at all, i would say an uprated rad is one of the best upgrades you can do to a zed no matter what the power ;) bear in mind cooling is the main issue the zed has so anything you can do to help can only be good :)
  15. on my project car i bought a pwr radiator which has a 60mm core which i think is the largest you can get for a zed :) not cheap but the quality was amazing http://www.pwr-performance.com/auto_main.htm Them were the days when i had plenty of money to spend
  16. on the uk car theres seperate fogs built into the bumper, you can wire up one of the rear reversing lights for the fog light which is neater :)
  17. think it would be hard work on a twin setup as they take up a fair amount of room from the ones i have seen
  18. the r33 gts box is the same box internals and will bolt up but not sure about the size for the propshaft? the gtr box will bolt up but would need modifications as it has a transfer box
  19. mine came today and i cant complain for the price but the weld are not as neat as i would have liked but you get what you pay for!! i shall be keeping a very close eye on it when i install it until its been tested under load
  20. fuel line should be fine, is everything plumbed in fine?? have you done a boost leak test?
  21. i have always found that even as standard the 300 was always lower at the front so had its nose pointing downward and unless you get coilovers most lowering kits i have either fitted or had myself has always given the same nose down stance?? mine has oem springs at the rear and tein springs at the front which makes the front stupid low :( so i'm putting oem springs back on :)
