well with the stage 6 engine and depending on what cam size you go for i would expect over 600 bhp with similar torque which to equate to usa bhp is more like 700++ bhp so i really dont think an rps 6 puck clutch will last 5 minutes once your running full power :) Mike

i just think the clutch is right on its limits for the power your going for and for the money your investing you may as well spend a few more hundred quid and get a clutch which will eat your power with no issues :)

also i'm 99% sure mac bought a new 96+ spec box and that didnt last very long, the sycros were better in the later box but still not upto big power. if it was me doing what your doing pm mac about his gearbox project ;) Mike

yeh stage 6 is what i bought, its about as good as you can builld a zed engine and kyle guarantees it for upto 1300bhp :shock:

i would have gone for the 725 turbos as there the newer version from garrett but your best emailing or talking to kyle if you havnt to get his advice :) also i dont think your clutch will be upto the job, best upgrading to (if funds allow) a carbon carbon or go for a multi plate clutch

why not just introduce a system like in new zealand where all the insurance and road tax is included in the fuel duty, so you fill up, your insured :) makes life so much easier and yes although the fuel is alot of money you never get anyone who drives uninsured, never get any hastle with insurance companies as its all handled by the government quickly!! exactly, the theory is sound, the only issue it whats behind the intercooler hence why hks and the border run the fmic at an angle to allow more air to flow to the rad etc

tbh there a long standing trader on ebay with very good feedback. its one of them, yes it will work fine, its more for looks than performance and an uprated set of side mounts will out perform a copy front mount, if your not looking to go into massive power then the one in your link will still be an improvement over 15 year old battered oem intercoolers ;) Mike

yeh its not bad, i'm having a few more bits and may have the interior yet or just the seats as there cleaner than mine but not sure yet, i am waiting until he has the box off it first then will rape and pillage it :cool:

no nothing common, at some point its had a small repair around the suspension area and looks like where its been welded has split a little, its no anywhere important but as its close to the suspension spring the mot picks it up so not overly bothered apart from its gonna be a pain in the arse to strip it all down just to do a 2 inch weld LOL
