Very very sad as he was diagnosed with the same cancer as my uncle and they both lost their lives within days :( Possibly one of the worst cancers you can get :( RIP Mike

Who has the most powerful ZX in the UK?
i think the fastest z32 in this country is around 12.6?? this was done years ago and there are lot more powerful ones around now so i dont think its going to be long before it gets into the 11's and fingers crossed into the 10's one day :)

gearbox alternatives /options
the back of the rb26 box is open and needs the transfer box, whether you can do something without it i dont know? but when i spoke to rob he said its pretty easy to remove the cog which turns the front prop shaft and weld a plate on it. again not sure the difference with the prop shaft but its not overly expensive to have a prop shaft made. the other interesting thing would be, i wonder if you could fit the front prop and front diff and run power to the front wheels ;) now that would be interesting LOL not sure if you would have the room like but a nice idea LOL

gearbox alternatives /options
both RB box's would bolt up according to rod bell at RB motorsports, the RB25 is i believe the same box as the TT zed anyway ;) but its no stronger, the RB26 box again will bolt up but you would also need the transfer box from a gtr and you would need to plate up the front prop shaft and get a custom prop shaft. again the only issue with the rb26 box is its not that strong, has the same issues with weak syncros. KIMS JAE 09 Thread!
Basically we set up in the far corner out of the way which was in the supra "area" anyway after spending an hour setting up one of the guys came over and told us to move off as this was for supra members. When i explained i was a fully paid up supra member he said tough i hadnt paid the £40 each to camp there, it was completely full over the weekend. When i questioned him on the £40 each he fed me the BS that it cost him over £200 to get the site which is why the supra owners paid £40 each  Anyway the sxoc were next door and some of them over heard what was happening so they helped us take our tent and moved them onto their area, they couldnt believe what the supra club did!! Then it got funny as the same guy put tape down to corden off the supra area to stop tresspassers  The worse thing is they filled about 1/4 of the area if that :xxx::xxx: I put in a complaint on the club forum when i got back

KIMS JAE 09 Thread!
Well done KIM ;) My thoughts on the venue were the facilities were good, plenty of showers and toilets. The overall car area was too big so it lost that friendly/family atmosphere, every club kept to themselves. It was expensive, we had a couple of kids with us so when you added up the £25's each it was not a cheap weekend. It needed 24 hour security as there were quite a few dick heads revving and donuting at 5am, in fact one was drifting very close to our tent on wet grass!!!!! I still think out of all the JAE's ive been to the best venue by far was billing? Other than that and getting thrown out of the supra area we all had a good time :)

tbh as long as you have 2 complete 360 degree turns on the nut then its technically fine Mike

If you had to choose one, what would it be?
between the e39 m5 and the monaro i would buy the monaro, if it was the newer m5 then possibly the m5. also you can get the new monaro for around £24k as they cant sell them!! not a bad buy i recon :)

Engine swaps, what would be interesting in a 300?
if money was no object i would stick an RB26 engine in with a RB30 bottom end for torque like the zed and a to4z single, os 6 speed seq box etc :)

Few more jobs done today
hmmm spent some money today ;) the car has driftwork hicas arms which had been installed but not setup so the rears were well out, so had 4 wheel alignment done which has improved things no end :) also taxed the bloody thing so its now road legal Fed her some decent fuel and gave her a blast to set up the boost controller but ran out of light and i dont have a boost gauge as yet and its difficult to read the contoller while driving at boost LOL so will wait until i get a boost gauge first then sort it. The undertray catched badly as the front is really really low so several cable ties later and all is well, at some point i will change the springs or the whole suspension to improve this. And lastly got some replacement rays/volk stickers so stuck them on  so looks like i am keeping these wheels whether its for track wheels and put others on i dont know yet ;) Mike
