  8. Looking into zed ownership again :D Now this time i wont have the funds to throw money at it and tune its t1ts off so will be keeping it a stage 1 zed and enjoying it. So question, do i just keep it and make it look nicer ie wheels etc or do i strip its arse off as much as i can to make it as light as possible and track it? One thing i never ended up doing was either tracking or dragging any of my zeds :( always had the intention of doing it but was always breaking them or building them further LOL The other questions is am i mad?? is zed ownership again for the 6th time a stupid idea

  18. great cars, think that will be next for us when the wife chenges her street ka. sound lovely, 6 speed box is amazing and there are quick, think the 0-60 is about the same as a oem tt zed and will top 155 so there not slow :) Mike
  19. shhhh LOL yep hit them hard until there were gone
  20. :slap: Wife has a ford street ka and she has been complaining that the sound system is crap so i told her if she sold her hard top for it i would upgrade the sound system in it!! So to start i picked up a sony usb stereo from ebay along with some 7x5" door speakers and some 6x9's for the rear. All was going fine with the head unit and front speakers, infact all was in within an hour so i knew the rears would be a bitch and god how i was right  Took the carpet out and realised they would not fit, there was oem brackets in the way and the carpet sits about 15mm off the bulkhead so the speakers would not sit right anyway so ended up having to make a spacer our of mdf, panel beat the oem brackets out of the way, screw the mdf spacer to the bulkhead then put the carpet back in then put the speaker fronts on and screw through the carpet to secure them. So a hard days work arsing with the stereo but jesus it sounds good, 4 decent speakers in a tiny car :) Fingers crossed i will get "thanked" later ;) Mike
  21. they interviewed a soldier about it the other night and he said it all, why are we fighting against terriorists in afganistan and losing lots of soldiers for the "cause" then let out a convicted terrorist who killed over 200 people? the government have just pi55ed on all the dead soldiers graves with this blunder. discrace, the tw@t should have rotted in a hole until he died
  22. i remember reading years ago that for every hand brake turn its like adding 5000 miles worth of wear and tear on your car? not a good luck in the local carpark im affraid
