  1. Sadly no mate, I'll be turning up to this years JAE dans le sh1tter (don't worry guys, she'll be parked well away from our pitch! Lol!)...but it will definately be worth the wait! :D Right, finished stretching the first lot of material for the passenger pod...just got to resin the bugger.
  2. Lol! Thank Christ I'm not the only one! Group buy on therapy sessions anyone? ;)
  3. It's after 1am in the morning and I'm sat here next to the computer stretching fabric over my fibreglass dash copy, getting the shape right ready to apply some resin. I think I need therapy! Any other partial insomniacs find they get the urge to do mad Zed related stuff at stupid o' clock at night? :D
  4. There's a chap I've been speaking to in the U.S. about my VH engine swap that runs a Z32 with a twin turbo'd, uprated VH45DE engine with nitrous oxide injection. Was putting out ~2000bhp before it grenaded itself on a salt flat run. But I guess it doesn't count ;)
  5. Mate, I don't think it's so much to do with the mileage (I was told before by them that at any time I could increase my limited mileage at only a small extra cost) it's because Chaucer, who Houghtons use, have changed their policy on insuring cars like ours. There have been several posts about Houghtons recently and there are quite a few unhappy people who have found the company either asks for exhorbitant amounts on renewal or refuse point blank to re-insure you...:(
  6. ^^^what John said!^^^ :D
  7. I paid £500 for a pair of GTR calipers and sold my old brake set-up for £150 to the SX lads if that's any help mate :) Leigh
  8. Lol! Think I needed a  smiley to cotton on to that one as I'm a bit excitable at the moment! :D :D
  9. Sure is mate. :)
  10. Between you and me Mickey...OH YES, and then some! Ever had one of your photoshops come to life before? Well, thanks to Steve, it's going to happen! If Steve's ok with it, might be posting some teaser pics soon to whet everyones appetite...;) :D
  11. Mmmmm...for the discerning redneck... :D
  12. Yup, Steve is currently working his magic on my Zed's bodywork and after that he's sorting the respray. Wouldn't go to anyone else for it TBH ;) Leigh.
  13. Its exactly what I was told as well (see my post on this thread made in June: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=51427) and I informed Ian as traders liason officer that their policy would be changing for the worse. Them not renewing their subscription says a lot. I couldn't get through to Rob either! Leigh.

Hopefully going to be there! :) Leigh.
  15. For a top quality, decent full respray (i.e. not one taken to Joe Bloggs under the arches who's been recommended through a friend of a friend...;)) for a car of our size you should be looking at a minimum of £2500-2700, working upwards. If you're thinking of a cut price respray just ask youself what corners they must be cutting achieve it, and how long it will stay like that. Would you rather get it right first time and have a car you can be proud of for years to come or settle for something that will require attention again and again in the not too distant future and probably end up costing you more in the long run. You pays your money, you takes your choice as the saying goes...;)
  16. You got PM James...you ain't seen me, right? Lol! :D ;)
  17. Right, one last cig for the road and I'm off to bed...Night all! :D
  18. Lol! Seconded! Why do cigarettes always taste better when your drinking? Promised myself I'd quit when I'm 30 so only a year and a couple of weeks to go...Christ knows how I'm going to give up, Lol! :D Speaking of which, time to light up. Smoke 'em if you got em guys ;)
  19. Drinking to your good health fellas :duffer:
  20. Been out on the lash tonight with JD and our respective ladies. Sadly John was driving so couldn't partake...however the girls made up for everyone, Lol! Most amusing! Lucie's gone to bed with a headache and I'm still up with a nice glass of scotch to keep me company! :D Leigh.
  21. Shows how long it's taken me to get my garage straight! Lol! :D
  22. I made a little bet with myself to see who would be the first person to say that! LOL! :D ;)
  23. Alright Craig, got a question for you! :) I've been thinking about digging out a pit for a while now and just wondered what's the best way of going about it to do the job right? Cheers!

If it wasn't for the back end, I'd really like that! :x: I'll get me coat... :D
  25. Just watching this on the news. Worried as one of my best mates is down there in that area. :( This is potentially the start of a major backlash in this country. The repercussions are going to be felt nationwide, particularly in areas with large Islamic communities (like mine...I live in Birmingham).
