Are computer games getting easier?
The Secret of Monkey Island, Leisure Suit Larry 3 and Indy Jones and the Last Crusade/Fate of Atlantis rank amongst my favorite ever adventure games. Top quality stuff...they definately don't make 'em like that anymore! :D

Copyright free photo archives?
Can anyone recommend any decent, net based, copyright free photo archives? I currently use stock.xchng as it has a wide range of diverse, hi-res subject matter but it would be good to know of some others :) Cheers, Leigh.

Insomniacs (not so)anonymous...
I'm going to plead temporary insanity...either that or emmigrate. I think the latter will be safer! Lol! :D

Insomniacs (not so)anonymous...
Lol! :x: ;) And on the food front, I've just polished off the girlfriends Galaxy chocolate (I'm officially dead) and about to light a final ciggie before turning in!

Insomniacs (not so)anonymous...
Perfectly reasonable. There's not a court in the land that would convict you. :D

Insomniacs (not so)anonymous...
Lol! I know the feeling...for some reason mine sleeps with her arms up (!) and almost every night I find myself getting whacked in the kisser with an elbow when she turns over. She swears blind it's accidental but I've noticed the frequency and heaviness of impact tends to increase if we've had a row...strange that...Lol! ;) :D

FAO Blackmagic...
Well, I'm a partial insomniac anyway but the problem is compounded at the moment as a side effect of the meds I'm taking is that I can't sleep! I seem to remember starting a thread about the late night users on here ages ago...:) Leigh.

Mad Buggy! (56K beware!)
Drove up to Wrexham today (er...yesterday now!) with JD to visit Leon at Alunox to sort out stuff for the dry sump system and drop off the old manifolds for him to use as a pattern in making up some superior, redesigned versions for our V8's. Met Mark(zx) over there and had a crackin' day discussing the project and generally chewing the car related fat! Leon is an absolute craftsman when it comes to any form of metal fabrication and that's no understatement. His work is phenomenal and he's a top man to boot! (and hopefully if all goes well with the committee, he might be making a more permanent appearance on here in the not too distant future ;)) While we were there he showed us something truly insane. He's designed and scratch built the maddest buggy I've ever seen in my life! An all-terrain, bike engined machine that pushes the envelope of off road vehicle capabilities and completely redefines the definition of hard-core...the acceleration peels the skin from your face and if that doesn't get you, the noise it makes would shear off your head at 50 paces...this thing is utterly mental! The best thing is, when John went off with Mark to do some mapping in his car, I got to have a go...and it made my day! You couldn't wipe the grin off my face! (as you can see from the last pic! Lol! :D). Although it's not quite finished yet (there's still more tweaking to do and it needs to have the body panels fitted and sprayed up) it really showcases the quality of his work and I have no doubt that it's going to sell like hotcakes when he puts it into production! Have a look folks...

Friday
Nah, that's not me. I was on the sh1tter at the time: Although I did hear a commotion outside and saw some guy being asked to leave as he was hanging round trying to catch a glimpse of anyone with their lightsaber out! Slimy looking fellow if you ask me...   ;)

Are computer games getting easier?
True. Three words for you. "The Last Ninja". Another two words to go with 'em. "Stepping stones". Any die hard, old school, chocolate digestive eating gamer of the 80's will, by now, be automatically breaking into uncontrollable cold sweats at the thought of how Christing annoying something seemingly so simple as crossing a ruddy river could be. And it was on the first level for God's sake! Lol! :D ;) Fantastic game but definately a good example of how difficult those early games could be. Don't get chance to play much these days but recently treated myself to "God of War". Wow. Absolutely blown away by this. Everything is perfect, from the in-game characters, difficulty curve, film quality cut-scenes, I could go on. Only took a week to finish but it's so well put together that it makes you want to play again at the harder "God" level and unlock all the secret bits. Haven't got myself lost in a game since the Resident Evil series. Highly recommended! :) Leigh.

Who is this?
It's the smoked plastic covering over the lights and the black roof that stand out for me. Very simple but very effective. Might have to see if they can be done on mine! Leigh.

OOeer just found this.............
No problem mate :) There's two of us doing the conversion on our Zeds, myself and my compadre John (Dixon). Think I summed up the major reasons in a thread defending the swap a while back. Here it is: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=45153&page=3&pp=15 Posts #35 and #39 should go some way to explaining it! ;) Leigh.

Red Zed - B&Q Solihull!
Coming out of B&Q in the Solihull retail park after picking up the last of the lighting needed for the workshop around 2:30ish this afternoon, saw a Red Zed parked up outside (think it had a personalised plate? J something or other!). Anyone on here? :) Don't see many round my way! Leigh.

My next Zed
Lose the door handles, side repeaters, spoiler and change the headlight panel to either a single or double horizontal vented jobbie and IMHO that would pretty much be my perfect "off the shelf" kitted Zed! Liking those alloys a lot as well...got a bit of a soft spot for 5 spokers (even though I haven't gone for them myself this time round! ;)). Definately go for it if you can mate! :D Leigh.

Alright mate, sorry to hear the sh1t you've had so far with your car :( If you don't mind waiting a week or so I've got a pair of J-spec electric mirrors in silver coming off my car (as I'm replacing them with Veilside jobbies). PM me if you're interested bud :) Cheers, Leigh.

Eerie/pretty sky over Leicester
Funny you should mention it mate, I was outside about 40 minutes ago photographing it myself! Over here (Shirley, Solihull way) the quality of light was really strange...almost a bruise yellow coupled with broiling clouds and the odd flash of lightning...seventh seal-tabulous! :D

Traumatic day :(
So sorry to hear this. :( I know how I would be if I had a phonecall saying one of my loved ones had been in an accident...absolutely sick to my stomach with worry. Hope everyone involved comes out of it ok. My thoughts are with you, Leigh.
